Best water ride Ive been on. The line moves quickly and that drop is very fast and thrilling. The splash is gigantic and it got me absolutely soaked.

Great shoot the chute. The Boston theming is great and I really like its setting along the lake. Lines moved very quickly and this one had a really good drop covered by a tunnel, which was a nice effect. The final splash as always got me drenched.

The Boston Tea Party is my favorite water ride at Canobie. As for the rides appearance, all I can say is wow. Canobie went the extra mile to theme this as the Boston theming is incredible. There are various buildings surrounding the Boston Tea Party with a Boston theme. Even though this is one of Canobies most popular attractions, lines usually arent too bad for this as the longest I have encountered was about 15-20 minutes (even on a very hot day). Out of all the rows, my favorite is easily the front simply because of the view and how it seems to be the wettest row in my opinion. Well other than that its basically the standard Hopkins shoot-the-chute. The drop is covered by a transparent tunnel (thats a great touch in my opinion and it looks very cool) and the drop certainly was much better than that of Escape From Pompeii. Also, the splash was so much better on this one than Escape From Pompeii as the splash was just plain huge. It was just as tall as the ride itself and I got soaked. This is just barely the best shoot-the-chute ride I have been on, just nudging out Escape From Pompeii.

Very big splash! If youre looking for a water ride were you get soaked this is it (at any park). The ride is just one drop. The drop is fun, although its not that steep. Even if you do believe one drop is not worth waiting in line for, this ride should not be missed.

A Shoot the chute themed after the Boston Tea Party in Boston. This was my first shoot the chute, and I enjoyed it a lot, so much that I rode it 2 or 3 times in a row. One of the main things that set it aside from other rides of this type is its great theming and the tube that runes down the majority of the drop hill.

I am absolutely baffled by the ratings for the Canobie rides. This is the second best ride in the park IMO but it is ranked 25th. Riders prefer the swinging ship to this? Whatever I think they put drugs in the powdered sugar on the fried dough. APPEARANCE-10 The theming is awesome how it works with the great Boston area and the details and murals they added to the ride. They even have an east india trading company reference. CAPACITY-8 One of my shortest waits at Canobie which had some of the slowest lines I have ever seen. RIDE QUALITY-8 For this type of ride it had great quality though I must disagree with the person who kind of slammed Hersheys since that drop and splash is pure craziness. FUN-9 This along with Cannonball really improved my day. RERIDE-9 At this park with its mild thrills and short flats it is almost a no brainer. OVERALL-44 AVG-8.8 I am not a fan of these rides but this one is a top notch experience. A solid 9 from me.

APPEARANCE: The Boston theming around the ride is incredible and really makes the ride fit in. Also, the ride itself looks great, from the boats to the cool looking tunnel (even though its there only to prevent noise).

WAIT TIME: 10-20 minutes- Waits for this usually are fairly short. Even if the whole queue may be filled, waits still rarely exceed 15-20 minutes since the ride has lightning fast loading and how it runs two boats.

RIDE: The views going around the turnaround of Lake Canobie are great and the drop is better on this one than on normal Hopkins shoot the chutes thanks to the transparent tunnel (it seems a bit faster as well). Also, the splash as always is humungous and it didnt leave a soul dry.

FINAL VERDICT: This definitely is one of the better shoot the chutes out there thanks to the theming. If you want to get soaked, dont miss this, especially since it usually has a relatively short wait.

Very good shoot-the-chute boat ride, much better than the other one I have been on (Hersheypark). Its nicely themed and the queue is just as cool of an experience; you still get soaked and with it all being over the water, its cool. You will be completely soaked by the time youre done with it all. One of the best rides at Canobie.

Nice drop, and you get pretty wet. They made us wait, upon exiting, for the next boat to splash through before we were allowed on the walkway, I dont know what thats about. Anyway, I had fun and got quite soaked. I dont think Id wait long for this ride, and I dont quite see how the name relates to the ride, unless those are supposed to be boxes of tea. Just kidding... kind of.
