Not a bad ride, but low speed and not a great view. Children will probably enjoy this ride, but adults are likely to find it uninteresting.

For a kiddie ride this is really good. Because I could control the spinning, I turned this into a really intense ride. The ride was pretty long as well.

Over the Rainbow is a very fun attraction at Canobie. Surrounded by various trees, Over the Rainbow is the parks balloon ride. Canobies version is one of Zamperlas new samba towers. Waits are random for Over the Rainbow as sometimes its a walk-on and other times it has a wait around 15 minutes (but never longer). The balloons can be a bit cramped if multiple people are in them, which is a bit of a negative. Now, Over the Rainbows balloons spin very well, in my opinion too well as I like some spinning, but not too much. I got very dizzy when I rode with a cousin who spun the balloon mad. When I go on alone I dont spin it and I get a tamer ride that still has some decent spinning and good Gs. The cycle is good too. Over the Rainbow is another one of Canobies good flat rides and one that a fan of spinning rides couldnt possibly miss.

I know alot of people like this ride ut honestly it gave me a headache! I went on with a friend who wasnt up for a very fast ride as she hd a bit of a headache and neither of us had been on it before. we decided not to spin it thinking it would be fine if we didnt, boy were we wrong! we were both stuck to the sides wanting to puke our guts out while the thing spun madly, it never seemed to end! finally it was over and we both stumbled out feeling dead. Im willing to give it another try when i go back in a few days but for now i ust cant get that memory out of my mind ugh

Very pointless ride. I have to spin it myself why would I want to do that? If I dont spin whats the point in riding it at all?

APPEARANCE: It just looks great. The whole ride is very clean and all of the balloons look great. Also, its cool how close the balloons come to nearby trees, but it does prevent any views from the top.

WAIT TIME: Walk On-5 minutes- This usually has a relatively short wait and at most, it usually is only a one cycle wait. Loading is lightning quick as well so that certainly helps.

RIDE: Canobie runs a very long cycle on this giving tons of opportunity for spinning. Spinning the balloons is incredibly easy and the Gs from spinning them are surprisingly strong considering this ride is more popular among kids. As I said earlier though, the views are poor from the top.

FINAL VERDICT: Best of the balloon rides Ive been on by far thanks to the incredible spinning during the ride. This is a perfect ride for many people since it can have intense spinning if you want to, or it can be slow and tame.

This is perhaps one of the best family rides to ever come out. it has balloons in which you can spin to your hearts content. while you spin the rides spins slowly and raises up a 40ft tower and back down again.
