Review of Boston Tea Party @ Canobie Lake Park

The Boston Tea Party is my favorite water ride at Canobie. As for the rides appearance, all I can say is wow. Canobie went the extra mile to theme this as the Boston theming is incredible. There are various buildings surrounding the Boston Tea Party with a Boston theme. Even though this is one of Canobies most popular attractions, lines usually arent too bad for this as the longest I have encountered was about 15-20 minutes (even on a very hot day). Out of all the rows, my favorite is easily the front simply because of the view and how it seems to be the wettest row in my opinion. Well other than that its basically the standard Hopkins shoot-the-chute. The drop is covered by a transparent tunnel (thats a great touch in my opinion and it looks very cool) and the drop certainly was much better than that of Escape From Pompeii. Also, the splash was so much better on this one than Escape From Pompeii as the splash was just plain huge. It was just as tall as the ride itself and I got soaked. This is just barely the best shoot-the-chute ride I have been on, just nudging out Escape From Pompeii.

Great review Princess. The tunnel actually isnt intended to be there for our pleasure. It originally was installed to reduce the noise of riders so people across the lake wouldnt complain. However, that tunnel has become part of the ride and I couldnt imagine the Boston Tea Party without it.
