I didnt ride it on this past trip but I did on my first trip so I might as well get the review done while Im at it - I hate these rides. Absolutely detest the feeling you get after the initial drop is gone. The ride is scary both in good and bad ways - good in the creeping forward that it does, bad in the "am I going to die?" sort of way. Overall a despisable ride that I will probably never do again.

I hate this ride. And its not to the fact that I dont really care for drop rides, because there are some good drop rides. But this ride is horrible. When you want to keep you head against the headrest to avoid head banging, it gets knocked around anyways. And then the part when the drop is done and you go back resting on your back; immediate headache. F-

After all these years, Freefall is still a great ride. This is a first-generation Intamin drop tower, and really the precursor to all the huge vertical towers that exist today. It may only be about 100 feet tall, but it still delivers that same rush that the newer drop rides do, and I love the way we tip over 90 degrees onto our backs to brake. Classic, intense, great fun. I hope it is never replaced.

Fun old ride, Its cool how you end up on your back. Tried the "penny trick", it was cool how my dime floated for about 3 seconds.

this ride is by far the scariest ride in the park and ive been on all of them. im not saying this just because im 13, my 30 year old uncle screamed like a girl on it. at the top of the tower the ride you are pushed out and for like 10 seconds you just hang there. all of a sudden you are dropped and you end up on your back. this ride usually has a very short line and is right next the exit of riddlers. Make sure u ride it.

You just dont find these 1st Generation Intamin Freefals anywhere, except for CP and SFMM (I think). Its so incredible to be up there at the top. You go forward, pause for a second, and then you dont even know that you dropped. It feels like youre left up there. If people have ever told you about feeling like your stomach was at the top of of the hill, this is officially what that feeling feels like. IMHO, 1st Generation Intamin Freefalls are better than turbo drops like the teal towers on Power Tower at CP.

Really fun. I wasnt afraid to do the coin trick on this one. There was no way to hurt someone. Lost the quarter, but it floated nicely. *Hint: Place the quarter flat on your knee. Dont hold it in your hand.*

This ride is pretty old and rough. That being said, its not bad. I dont really like towers, and even though the car is see-through, you are somewhat enclosed, which makes it better for me. The stomach-in-your-mouth feeling is pretty impressive on this ride.
