This ride simply did not do very much for me.
Six Flags Great Adventure is my home park, and this is a mirror image clone of Bizarro (Medusa)- but it's inferior in just about every way. This is the definition of a parking lot coaster (they didn't even make an effort to paint over the lines!), while Bizarro at least has some terrain that it works with. This is also considerably rougher than Bizarro, even though Bizarro is the older ride.
Don't get me wrong here- I have no inherent problem with clones, especially when they're across the country from one another. However, this is a vastly inferior clone to the ride I'm used to- and the ride I'm used to certainly isn't one that has ever blown me away.
I love this ride, I've ridden Bizarro (Medusa) as well and I find this ride to me much smoother. I skip Riddlers Revenge every time and ride this instead, all the forces without the leg shattering pain. I'm almost scared to say this, but I think the parking lot theme is actually kind of funny, to me seeing the whole parking lot upside down really makes you feel upside down. Getting to this ride is totally worth the walk and there's hardly ever much of a line. Definitely skip Riddler and head for this or Batman.
Great floorless coaster. Every inversion had a smooth transition. I enjoyed it, but the parking lot theme is a real bust...
Good coaster, but I just have to question Six Flags' theming choice. Parking lot? Real original. Anyway, the ride had decent forces during the inversions and there were plenty of them. This is just one of those coasters that could be ridden all day.
This is by far my favorite floorless coaster. That being said the setting was lacking. A parking lot is not very exciting. Setting makes rides great which Scream! lacks. Its inversions are nice but the setting just dissapointed.
Very great ride. For the most part it is really smooth, at the first drop there is a little bit of a jerk, but for the most part, very smooth, lots of loops and inversions. I myself love florless coasters. I do think though that they could of done a little bit more of scenery. So basicly overall it was a pretty good ride, but if you are looking for extreme rides, this isnt the best for you, but still a lot of fun.
This is one of the only rideable coasters left at SFMM. It has a bit of a rattle problem, but it is not rough. The floorless aspect of it is a gimmick, and the location over a parking lot is laughable. To those who say big deal to the parking lot setting, go ride Kumba then tell me that. Setting matters! Its still a pretty fun ride. Im looking forward to riding Medusa so I can compare this to the original.
Very fun ride! The lines were short. The inversions were thrilling, especially the 3rd one. I just wish it wasnt a parking lot coaster. Its my favorite coaster at SFMM.
This is a pretty good ride. you cant expect any extreme thrills from this, its just fun to ride. the floorless aspect of it really doesnt make any difference for me, because i am just concentrating on what loop or zero gravity roll etc is coming up. it is kind of strange to have just the track under you but you really dont get a chance to think about that. the big commercials that they had for this and the big hype they had made it sound great, but i was definitely disappointed after riding it. its still fun to go on, but youre never gonna get the feeling that your in some big thrill ride like X. i do recommend it though since the lines move quite quickly for this ride so you might as well add it in to your day plan.
I read the comments for the last person, and was kinda of shocked that people like to complain about the parking lot thing. Is it really that big of a deal. You are riding the ride, and not the parking lot. How about complain about the theme of the ride instead? Its theme is to Scream for goodness sakes. Isnt that unoriginal? Anyway, I give it a 10. If Medusa is the same thing, I see why its a really fun coaster. The inversions are fun, and the seats are really comfortable. I always love cobra rolls, loops, and corks.
