Talon is an excellent inverted coaster. Its the best inverted coaster Ive been on. The inversions are incredible and intense. Although the wait is long, its well worth it. The barrel roll has great hang time as does the immelman.

The Talon is a steel sit down roller coaster. (inverted). It was built by B&M in 2001. It is 135' tall, 3,110' long, it travels at speeds of 58 mph, it has 4 inversions. The air time is great and its real smooth. A great addition to the park. I especially liked the tunnel. It has a long duration and a large capacity.

A great B&M creation. The color scheme is wonderful. We especially liked the drop after the first inversion. This led into another inversion and a very disorienting turn around. I don’t know what each element is called, but this is one of B&M’s best inverted coasters.

While I like the ride, The quiteness actually takes away from it. I would have probably enjoyed it more if the girl behind me wouldnt have been screaming in my ear. While Talon has a good element layout, I find it short and less forcefull than other B&M inverts and therefore rank it slightly lower than say Montu, Raptor, and Batman the ride.

NO MID COURSE BREAK RUN! This is a great smooth quiet ride that delivers alot of fun without ever cocooning your senses so you can enjoy every last drop. Beautiful to watch in operation also. Tons of photo ops. Great addition to the park.
Send one to valleyfair! (my home park)

This is the best inverted coaster Ive been on so far. Its very fast and the inclined helix makes my vision dim everytime! It also has a clean whooshing sound to it, unlike Batman: the Ride at SFGAdv which sounds...well old. Talon has great pacing, its has one of the best pacings of any coaster actually. The first hill on Talon is horrifying as you sweep over all the people walking below the drop and the first few inversions are as rapid fire as they come. I think the drop after the "place where the MCBr should be" is really cool also, It gives you a nice little pop of air. You also almost never see airtime hills on inverts (at least the ones Ive been on) so it took me by surprise.

Another nice inverted coaster from B&M. Very interesting design, as it doesnt follow B&Ms normal set of inversions, being a loop, inline twist, and cobra roll. Instead it goes through a loop, inline twist, and then an immelman followed by an intense helix that banks the car on its side. A short turn follows instead of a brake run, giving some nice foot choppers. Then it drops again followed immediately by a highly banked turn and a corkscrew. Then after a second short helix the ride ascends u up quickly to the brake run, giving some decent airtime. Tame? I dont think so.

Very fun, i like it alot. sure its no Alpengeist but it has an interesting layout. The line when i went was moderately long, but the ride was worth the wait.

Ive yet to meet a B&M inverted that I didnt like. Theyre all great rides. Talon packs a hell of a ride into its compact layout. Small pops of air, nice Gs in the loop and helix. Ride at night when this one is really moving and stay towards the back and youll get a world class ride. Almost enough to bump Raptor as the best B&M invert, it still just might. EDIT - since I wrote this I had another chance to ride Raptor and yes, Talon stands victorious. My new favorite B&M invert.

Great inverted coaster! Its really scary on the lift hill for first time riders then it gets so awesome once you descend the 120 foot drop and around the 90 outside loop, in- line twist, immelman and corkscrew. Probrably the best inverted coaster Ive been on!
