This was one of if not the best shoot the shoot rides I've been on. I just loved the tunnel at the top where you are floating on water slowly to the hill, giving a little boat ride to the ride. And since the hill is hard to see from the tunnel, you don't know that you are about to fall until it happens.

If you love getting wet, you will love this ride. Apart from that, however, there is nothing to write home about with this one. Hershey's creation is taller with drop that is far larger, making for a more exciting ride. However, the tunneled turn at the top is nice, especially since you can wave to the ride operators.

On a hot day, you really cannot go wrong with a spin on Dorney's shoot-the-chutes ride, White Water Landing. It is, first and foremost, a very impressive looking ride, as it towers a lofty 80 feet in the air. The setting is pretty nice as well, at the top of one of Dorney's hills. The simplistic design of this water ride works well, as is often the case with these types. The tunnel at the turnaround on top is nice, and the drop is fantastic, as it is very steep and quick. And make no mistake, when the boat reaches the pool of water on the bottom, a drenching wave of water engulfs the boat, much to the riders' delight. Although very similar in design (if not identical) to Snake River Falls at Cedar Point, I actually like this one better for some reason. In fact, it currently ranks as my 3rd favorite shoot-the-chutes, behind only Kennywood's and Hershey's. This get wet ride is a lot of fun, and the perfect relief from the sweltering summer heat.

White Water Landing was a pretty good shoot the chute ride. The tunneled turnaround was nice and the drop was excellent, as it was fast, tall, and pretty steep. I got soaked at the bottom too, though the splash wasnt nearly as good as those on Intamin models.

White Water Landing is my favorite water ride. The splash is huge, and it nearly looks like as if a bomb hit the lake WWL goes into. Its also good that they have an observation bridge close to the drop. In that case the wave comes towards you, which looks cool. So I should say that everyone that comes to Dorney should go one on this ride. It is even greater on hot days!

This reminds me alot of movie town water effect at great adventure. Because its the same thing. Just its bigger and the drop goes under the lift hill. Then it makes a big splash fun stuff. I was a little disapointed u had to ride the ride first before u could stand on the bridge because it had a pretty long line(well longer than most of the other rides) but we wanted to cool off so we waited in line and the wait wasntas bad as i thought it would be. after we rode we stood on the bride and got even more wet then we did on the ride. if your hot ride this ride.

this ride is awesome because you could feel the drop and you get soak and wet. this ride also lets you stand on the bridge and i think standing on the bridge gets you more wet than being on the actual ride. minus 1 point for being a fairly short ride

This is a signature ride at Dorney and a good way to cool off on a hot day if only you could wear a bathing suit or have a change of clothes because you get soaked.
