The Sea Dragon is a flat ride. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duraion.

Thanks to a PhantomNik review pointing out to me that Dorney has a Chance Sea Dragon, I made it a point to hop a ride this past July. I have always found that the fewer people on the ride, the better these perform (less weight for the drive tires to push) so I was more than happy to plant my ass in the last row with my son with NO ONE ELSE onboard. The ride reached the apex of the swing in about 3 or 4 cycles and provided great air-time. After that point, the drive wheels drop and you get a few sensational free-swings before they pop back up to brake you to a gentle halt. It was a great ride. If you see a Sea Dragon, make time to take a ride as these are much better than a Pirate (sorry Huss. I love your flats when run properly, but Chance clearly beats you here.) And the shorter the line and lighter the boat, the quicker you should head for this often over-looked negative G machine.

Sea Dragon at Dorney Park is a great swinging ship ride that is loads of fun. The ship looks really good, and is complete with glowing eyes on the ends at night, which to me is a fantastic touch. They load this up nice and quick, as is usually the case with ship rides. The ride itself is very good, as it swings quickly and provides some solid sensations. My only slight complaint is that I wish this one went a little bit higher, as I've seen on other models. Also, with its placement on a hill, it should be noted that Sea Dragon treats riders to some very nice views during the cycle. These things are always a blast for me to ride, so I would definitely recommend this flat ride to future visitors of Dorney Park.

Good sea dragon. This one gives some great views during the ride thanks to its location at the top of a hill. Secondly, the ride runs very well as it travels very high and travels fast, giving great sensations throughout the ride. The cycle was decent as well, but there was almost no air during the ride except for on a few select swings.

Sea Dragon is great swinging ship ride that goes very high compared to some. The cycle is good length and riding in the tip makes for a great ride with good sensations.

A great swinging ship! It is also pretty intense too! Probably one of the best flat rides in the park.

A decent swinging ship. Not as large as some, but not as small as others. It goes pretty high (high enough to give me at least a little of that I left my stomach a foot down feeling) and provides a bit of a view, has a decent ride length, and on at least my visit very pleasant ride ops who were happy to let us make adjustments and rearrange belongings for as long as we needed to.

This was a well-kept sea dragon. if you push up one the lap bar on the high points, you get airtime.

Just basically your average swinging ship. Nothing really special about, you just get on and swing. An okay ride, but, again, nothing special.

"You cant go wrong with the pirate ship." That is my motto. I like this one, probably the best one that Ive been on. Just get to one of the top rows for the true affect of the ride. If you are feeling a little bored with the day for some reason, go on this and it will get you back into the mood.
