Best version of these junior wooden coasters Ive been on. This one was very smooth and seemed a bit faster than others. Best of all, this one had some decent air-time throughout.
Fun kids coaster. I enjoyed it a lot. The lines can get fairly long, because of the slow loads, but it IS worth a try! Its pretty fun.
Fairly Odd Coaster is a wood junior roller coaster. It was designed by C. Summers in 1975. It is 40' tall, 1,356' long. This was a fun junior coaster. The ride is full of air time, it has camel humps, and is a little bit rough. Its very well maintained and a good coaster for all ages. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
Before anybody calls the straight-jacket police, let me explain. This rating is based on my childrens view of the ride not mine. After all, this is a childrens ride. My children, one 7 and one 4, absolutely loved this ride. They couldnt get enough and they are still talking about it today and they probably will be for a while. I wish that I had a coaster this fun to grow up on. First of all, the Fairly Odd Parents is an extrememly popular cartoon on Nickelodeon. This ride does the show justice. The gorgeous purple paint really makes this ride stand out. When my kids saw it from the parking lot, they almost had a convulsion. They wanted to jump the fence to get to it faster. Once on, my kids had a blast. My 4 year old son was holding his hands up like a 20 year veteran. The coaster is smooth as glass and is quick. It moves through the turns very nicely and has good air time for the young riders. This has to be the very best junior roller coaster out there.
The Fairly Odd Coaster, yet another Nickelodeon rethemed ride, was a fun lil junior woodie. For a coaster of 30 years, it was in remarkable shape. The purple paint was certainly unique, and it fit the Fairly Odd Parents theme well. The ride was ok, with a couple of good moments of airtime, but far from thrilling for an adult. Once again, just like its sister to the north, it is a ride that I would have loved to grow up on, and with the way it ran and was taken care of, it could easily thrill generations to come. Fun ride, but dont expect too much
I think they changed the name of this to the Fairly Odd Coaster, but it was very impressive for a jounior woodie. The speed was impressive for its size and the airtime, though smaller was nice.
Fun little thing, surprisingly. Probably the best junir coaster out there that I have experienced. Offers some good spots of airtime.
nice side-to-side movement for a little junior woodie
Fun little junior wood coaster.
I rode this ride back when I wouldnt ride any other coaster in the park. I slowly drifted away from it, to the bigger ones and about seven years later I went to ride it and me and my same buddy I used to always ride with when I was a kid and we couldnt fit in the seats! Great beginning coaster, highly recommended I should say.
