Dahlonega Mine Train is a steel sit down roller coaster. It is a mine train style. It was built by Arrow in 1967. It is 37' tall, it is 2,323' long. It is fun, fast, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. Three lifts divide this family thriller into wild and scenic parts, complete with a drop into a S-curve that is tunneled. Of note some of trackage was replaced in the 1980's by Hopkins.
This is a good beginner coaster. My youngest is staring out and loved it. A little rough, but it prepares newbies to coasters.
this was a pretty fun mine train. but it was rough! i had a soar neck the next day. but the last drop was pretty good.
This ride was over to quickly, it went down the hills to slowly, and the only thing good is the End Drop. Ride it over and over and youll be ready for Goliath! try it!
The only reason this ride doesnt get a 1 is because the final drop was pretty good. Other than that this whole ride sucks. Its slow, jerky, and I think it literally jumped off the tracks at one point.
Pretty tame ride except for the tunnel, which is awesome. I still ride it everytime i go to the park because i love how it goes through the woods and it just brings back memories.
I had lots and lots of fun times on this ride. The end is completely awesome.
I think this is a great ride for kids and adults. The first part of the ride is for kids, but that last part is awesome! But Id have to say its more for the kids than for the adults.
This is a good starter coaster for the kids. It has one good sized drop at the end, but it also jerks a lot in the tunnel. I ride this often because my little sister loves it, but I dont consider it to be a "must-ride."
It was a fun Thunder Mountain RailRoad type ride. I enjoyed it, these rides are usually a lotof fun, as this one was.
