di-gi-di-di-tal-mon-st.....(I was trying to sing and it wasn't quite right because I was on the Pitt-Fall. First of all the wind took my breath...and the drop took my voice)! As u can see here it was mightily fun.

Best non-gyro Intamin drop tower Ive been on. The ride gave great views from the top and the drop was very suspenseful and sudden since there was no warning at all. The whole drop was a huge thrill as I was out of my seat the whole way down and I completely lost my stomach. As a bonus, this almost never seems to have a wait.

I dont know what it was, but Pitt Fall was really good. I definitely enjoyed it more than the other Intamin Giant Drops I have ridden. It may be a bit taller, but it also gave a great view of Pittsburgh, Kennywood Park, and the massive parking lots! I only rode during the Phantom Fright Nights, and that may have made it a bit more special than the other Giant Drop experiences I have had. Even though they werent loading every seat, the opp.s really worked quickly, unlike virtually every other drop tower Ive been on. The drop itself was good. Im not sure if its because it was my last ride of the day at 12:30 A.M., but this was so much better than Hellavator or Tower of Doom. Really massive airtime all the way down. It was pretty close to Drop Zone at KD, and maybe it was because I wasnt expecting a whole lot. All in all, I really recommend this to all drop tower lovers, and it is currently my second favorite drop tower.

This is a great ride, the drop seems forever because you get so close to the ground before breaking on this one. It got a 9 because about the last 4 years i will say (i go every year for a school picnic) one side has been at the top the whole season and i really think the lines would get shorter if all 4 cars are running.

note, the best part of this ride is that you get to see some old footers from the great steel phantom

A standard drop tower, although its pretty darn big. I rate the ride itself similarly to Giant Drop, with an overall better view but worse theming. Unfortunately, the better view that Im sure accompanies this installation was not able to be expereienced, since they were only running two sides when we were there, and neither we the sides facing the ravine or the park. It was still a good drop though, and certainly got my heart pumping enough without having to look even further down towards the river.

This is a decent drop ride. Ive been on taller ones, but if you have the river view Im sure it gives you the illusion that the tower is taller than it actually is because of the rides location near the river bank. I didnt like that you had your side of the tower selected for you by the ride op. As with most drop rides there is no theming to speak of, although the ride does have a cool name.

I liked this ride for many reasons, but it had some bad points. If the line is long it usually takes forever to get on since there arent a lot of riders per ride. The view is great and it is really fun and scary to fall right back down to the ground. Whenever you drop it feels like you are going up while the ride is going down. That is how weightless you feel.

hoooooly god, that was craazy. Going down that drop, I lost some lose change. Thats weightlessness. SERIOUS weightlessness. I really enjoyed the view I got of Phantoms Revenge way up there. This is the kind of drop tower that drops you ALL the way down. Intamin drop towers look different than S&S towers. I havent ridden any S&S towers, so I cant compare. A great old park gets a modern thrill ride, which I like. Long lines took away a point. Still, you gotta try this.

APPEARANCE-8 Not much you can do to these since they all have sort of the same look. At night this one puts a bit of fear in you though. CAPACITY-6 Lots of safety checks and not real fast loading times hurt this one a bit. RIDE QUALITY-8 The harnesses on this one are a little tight, but it seems like you get much closer to the ground on this one before the brakes kick in so that is cool. FUN-8 One of the only types of rides that offer some fear and I find that fun hence the 8. RERIDE-7 Maybe just depends on my mood. OVERALL-37 AVG-7.4 I will go 7 since the rides are familar but add a point if you are there during Halloweeen.
