Road Rally Cars are a track guided ride. They are average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
Family attractions are key to a park's survival, in my opinion. Let's face it, people bringing their kids is what most parks bank on. So, I'm certainly not about to bash a family attraction like this, but I honestly feel that this ride could be better. Road Rally Cars is the car ride at Dorney Park, perfect for kids and adults to ride and enjoy together. And although it's an above average ride overall, I think it suffers from a rather short and uninspired course that just ends too quickly. The cars are nice, but I'm a bigger fan of the "antique" looking autos myself. Kids certainly like it, and I'm glad it is there. But, while it's a decent enough ride, there are simply many other car rides that are much better and give a little more bang for your wait in line.
Not a bad car ride. I went on it in the summer of 06. I had the slowest car. My wife caught me in a matter of seconds and was on my a$$ the whole time.
There are definitely better ones out there. I went on it this summer, and its very small. They could of made it alot better than it was. there were a few little Pros about, but its just too small for me to enjoy. I remember going over the bridge and saying, "wow its almost over already?"
I have pretty good memories of this ride from when I was a little kid. I always enjoyed being able to drive the cars eventhough they were on a guided track. The ride is in a very nice location in the back of the park, going past the stream. It is one of the few rides in the park that still has its natural setting. I also enjoy the attention to detail that the ride has - the milage signs were changed this year with one of them saying "Cedar Point - 800". The ride is always popular with the families and it is great to still see it around.
Itsa a cute lil attraction. You ride in gas-powered cars through a short track near the back of the park. You even have a little gas peddal that you push to keep the car going.

Nice little car ride located near Thunderhawk with racing cars.
