An OK Ferris wheel; the view is interesting but not too interesting and the cycle really seems to short. Really not a great ride, but not a terrible one.

The Giant Sky Wheel was a disappointing Ferris wheel. With a location near the front of the park, the Giant Sky Wheel often is one of the first rides I go one. It towers over everything else in the park and the ride looks to be in great condition. At night the Giant Sky Wheel looks incredible with the neon light package on the side of the wheel. Due to slow loading, the Giant Sky Wheel generally has quite a bit of a wait. Usually I end up waiting about 30 minutes for this, which is far too long for the length of the ride I got. The cycle is very short and I usually only get about 3 rotations or so before the loading/unloading process begins again. Thats way too short. Also, the Giant Sky Wheel didnt provide much in terms of the views as there are many tall trees surrounding the ride that obstructed my view. Still, the Giant Wheel is a relaxing ride that I always try to get on at least once when I go to Canobie.

As said before, the Giant Sky Wheel is the tallest ride in the park, standing at 90ft. It runs very smoothly and is a nice break from Canobies thrill rides. The only con I was able to spot on the Sky Wheel was that due to the many trees around it, you dont get a very good view of the park.

This is the tallest ride in the park, which is kinda sad, as its only maybe 100ft tall at most. The park is very wooded so theres not much to see from above, as most attractions are under the trees, but it does offer a good view of the lake in the distance. Definitely worth checking out if theres not much of a wait.

Well sorry to put an end to the ferris wheel love fest by a bunch of Canobie fanboys. The cars are slightly cramped since it is not a full gondola car. I got three real circles which puts it as the shortest ferris wheel I have been on. The park has a beautiful lake yet they choose to emphasize the parking lot by putting it at the front. All of this I could have looked past and given this ride a six, but the capacity was unbelievable. There were 4 people in front of us. It took 15 minutes to get on. Twice they looked for smaller groups behind us so they could get the weight right. If the wheel is that sensitive it shouldnt be running. At one point I expected the ferris wheel nazi to pull out a scale. This totally ruined the ride, but did give me a clue about the serious capacity issues this park has.

Poor example of a Ferris wheel in my opinion. The rides strong point definitely is its appearance. The wheel is very well kept and the light package at night is absolutely beautiful. However, the ride has a serious capacity issue as lines can get very long due to the very slow loading procedure. Because of it I havent been on this in years. From what I remember, the cycle was about average in length and the speed was decent. However, the views are obstructed thanks to the huge trees next to the wheel blocking the views of the park and the lake. I did get an unobstructed view of the parking lot though, but seriously I was hoping for some beautiful views of the lake and the park itself.

Average ferris wheel with some good lights at night. I usually dont bother with ferris wheels but this is relaxing, I guess.

Sweet ride, and in very good condition from what I remember. Nice view from the top. I must admit though, that I dont like the design of the cars, not sure why, Im just not a fan.
