Theyre fun, but not worth a wait. You cant control the spinning, but I did get some good spins.
I always try to go on the Crazy Cups quite a few times when I visit Canobie. Covered by a canvas, the Crazy Cups usually are a walk-on even though the ride has a low capacity. There are six purplish colored cups and unlike newer models, you cant spin them manually which is a plus for me as I just like to enjoy a ride and not have to spend a lot of time spinning the cup. The cycle is decent and the spinning is much better than that of the other two PTC crazy daisies I have been on. The Gs of the spins were on par with those of a tilt-a-whirl. This usually is my last ride at Canobie. I absolutely love the Crazy Cups and they are one of many classic attractions at Canobie.
These are a fairly slow set of tea cups.
These are great, there is a thought that you might crash into another cup, and the Gs are pretty intense if you get spinning right. A Classic.
APPEARANCE: I like the rides location on the midway and the ride only takes up a small plot of land. Also, the cups and ride look to be in great condition, though I have seen better paint jobs for cups at other parks.
WAIT TIME: Walk On- I usually ride this quite a few times at Canobie while Im walking by it thanks to it being a walk-on. Loading is very quick for this as well.
RIDE: Throughout my ride, which was a good length I might add, there was plenty of spinning and the spinning produced pretty good Gs at times as well. I do prefer ones where the cups can be manually spun though.
FINAL VERDICT: Definitely not Canobies best flat, but certainly worth a ride while passing by since this type of ride is rare nowadays and also this is the best of the crazy daisies Ive been on.
Nice tea cups, with an unusual design. The movement is much different than standard tea cups, and the noise is hypnotizing. Fits into the surroundings well and is a neat experience.
These tea cups are some of the oldest Ive seen, but the still spin fairly well. I wish that the cups could have been spun manually by the riders though, as that makes these rides a lot more fun. I cant say it should be run faster though, because it is quite old.
Theyre tea cups. I dont think Id give tea cups anywhere more than a 7.
one the tea cups are PTCs yes the coaster company they are wicked
This rarely seen PTC tea cups are like nothing you have seen before. You spin of chance you can spin allot or a little, like of a tilt-a-whorl. They fit well in the park as well. Good Gs of the out side if you can catch the spin right.
