Basically a giant splash but with much more theming. The dinosaur models look better than the ones in California but they still lack compared to Disney. Also, the amusing Jeep scene has been replaced with a boring crate scene. And the inside of the building still looks like a brewery. The T-Rex is just as menancing however, and the final drop still thrills. I didnt get very wet on this ride, which is a good thing (well for me anyway.)
Great job with the theme. I actually didnt get too wet on the drop.
Its been awhile since Ive been on a splash boat ride and this is probably the best Ive been on. The dinosaurs looked pretty good and the ride got pretty exciting because I didnt know when or where the raptor was going to pop out next. The ride was a bit too short though. I thought it was going to be longer considering the size of the building but your not in the building for long at all. I could see the T-Rex over the drop before we even came to it so that kinda ruined the surprise, and of course the drop was the best part. I didnt get too wet, then again I didnt want to get too wet that day since it wasnt hot.
A really nice ride. Its like jungle cruise meets splash mountain, except with a better drop. The drop was great. the first half of the ride almost makes you forget that in a few minutes youll be plunging down a giant waterfall!
Good drop, decent fun. Too short and the dinosaurs are looking a little worse for wear. The rubber/latex is limp and really showing its age on many of them (which is sad, since this is a pretty new park). The final bit with the T-Rex wouldve been much more effective if you couldnt see him coming from the complete other end of the tunnel. They should either have him totally hidden or show him doing things before he turns his attention to your boat. Overall, good ride and nice folliage. Dont miss it, but theres some serious room for improvement.
lots of themeing, great for the many jurrasic park fans.
Parks that refer to themselves as "Theme Parks" need to visit IOA to see what theming really is. Here they take your standard shoot the chutes plunge and turn it into a totally unique escapade!
YOU WILL GET WET ON THIS RIDE!! that dinosaur takes up all your concentration an then... PLOOSH!! an amazing finale. So realistic, I thought the dinosaurs were real
Islands of Adventure has one of the greatest collections of water rides EVER! JPRA is no exception. Its well themed, well exicuted, and has an increadible drop!
Great ride, as a matter of fact one of the best!! The rie itself was great, the theming was incredibly awesome, the dinosaurs look very realistic. I loved the part in which you go in through the gate and the Audio spiel says "Welcome to Jurassic Park" and the music starts playing. another cool part was when the cage almost falls on you, that was neat. I give this ride a perfect 10
