This ride is very fun! I rode it twice when I went yo IOA and the wait was very short...my first ride was def a 10 but I give it a 9 because our raft and 4 other rafts got jammed up together right before you enter the buliding part of the ride. WE were stuck on the ride for about 10 mins and the rafts kept building up...but overall it has great themeing and a fun drop!

Awesome drop! I love the way you leisurely go through in the beginning. Although not as scary as i expected it to be. The inside of the building and drop are a 10. But the rest of the ride lacks. You defenitley do get soaked and its still a must-ride. Although make sure you dont slide forward on the drop or else youll end up w/ huge bruises on your knees like me and my friend.

I was expecting a little more than I got when first riding this thing. Overall its pretty well done. I especially liked the fact that the great musical score by John Williams was played throughout the ride. It really helped mask the imperfections of the ride. I thought DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom was a little better than this for these reasons. The dinos on JP are just a bit to static when the dinos on CTX had a very full range of motion (most of them anyway). The sense of danger that was on CTX is not to be found here I mean sure theres dozens of angy carnavores on the lose but this thing goes so slow the feeling that youre trying to escape disolves into the feeling that these dinos are just here to amuse you until the drop. The drop by the way is great but I didnt get very wet just splashed in the face. If you want to get wet head over to Bildge Rat Barges or if you want to get a rush as you soak get in line for Ripsaw Falls.

The Best "River Ride" (Not including Log Flume) I have ever ridden. Decent beginning but not very pleasant when you KNOW a 80 foot near-vertical drop is ahead. I usually am not scared while riding these types of rides but I had not gone to Dueling-Dragons or Incredible Hulk until later in the day. So this was the first DROP(as you can guess, no matter how many rides you have gone through before, the next time you go to a theme park you will be scared on the first thrill ride you go on). So as I was saying, The sissy-dinosaurs were pretty good (Coming out of the water and doing their usuall sissy actions), and then we saw a pretty big lift hill. The boat climbed, climbed, climbed (Not as big as the Nitro climb or Millenium Force climb ofcourse[Hehe], actually 1/3 of it) but then again, a huge climb for a water ride. And then that T-rex came out (stupid when you know there is a hole ahead of you, the raptor animation was pretty good though) And then SWISH, like a basket through a hoop, a beautiful and extremely enjoyable drop. My glasses got wet, but nothing else. I found this the most ENJOYABLE DROP for any THEME PARK RIDE. YES YOU HEARD IT, I HAVE RIDDEN ALMOST A HUNDRED ROLLERCOASTERS/THRILL RIDES and this has to the most enjoyable drop for a MAJOR NON-KIDDY RIDE. Smooth, just close your eyes, and a perfect, non violent drop. Your gonna love this ride after the drop.

This ride is one of the best water rides ever. The creepiest part is when you drift off into the restricted area and the tour keeps going on in the background! The only part that made it a 9 was the small amount of time actually spent in the building. That could have been much creepier and more like a haunted house.

The JP River Ride is themed somewhat well. the ultrasaur stalled for a minute at the beginning but otherwise it was good. The T-Rex arms were kind of small though. The drop was pretty cool because it was inside but the Journey to Atlantis drop was better and so was the ride.

Insiders Tip: To get the wettest sit in the front left of the boat.

I really liked the ride and it would be a ten but the last few times I was on it the raptor box didnt drop, the best part of the ride! The 85 ft plunge is great and dosent even get you very wet!

The ride was good starting out, but got even better when you get knocked off course into the warehouse. The "mean" dinosaurs looked more realistic than the outside "nice" ones. The T-Rex was really cool. And that drop was out of this world! What made this doubly good for me was the fact that we went on it on a Monday morning when the lines were mega-short!
