It is with unbridled success, I feel, that WDW has been able to add to their repertoire of thrill rides while still being able to appeal to people of all ages. This has been shown by both the Rockin Roller Coaster, and by the Tower of Terror. This is due in no small part to the excellent theming of both of these rides. however, I feel that the Tower of Terror has one-upped even the Rockin Roller Coaster in this department. Disney has truly created a masterpiece with this ride. I find it impossible to compare this with any other drop ride I have ever been on, because it is so much more than a drop ride. From the path leading up to the hotel to the boiler room, this rides theming is perfect, or very close to it. Although the hight of this ride pales in comparison to such towers as Drop Zone at PKD, the height of the ride is hardly relevant in this case. It is through the synergy of the theming and the drop that Disney has managed to create this wonderful ride, one which I will not soon forget.

Ive been on taller drop rides, but this was at least as fun as any. Plus the best theming at WDW. Plus jaw-dropping fx (some left me wondering how the heck they did that). Dont miss it.

Although its not the tallest, this is my favorite drop ride. I like how its not just up and then back down. And the multiple drops are also a plus. Great themeing too. Another awsome thing is that the story they tell you about the haunted hotel.

The best ride, thats not a rollercoaster, i have ever been on! i didnt know anything about it when i went, nothing! i waited in line for close to two hours, just looking around at the thememing. at the time (this was 6 years ago!) i was not the theme park/ coaster junkie i am now, so i just thought it was cool. now i realized how much work, planing, time, and most of all MONEY went into this ride. i havent been back since then, and i only got to ride it twice, but still beats even most rollercoasters iv riden! ride it ride it RIDE IT!!!!!

I was 10 when i rode this and i was terrified. Ive never been on anything scarier than the tea cups. Although right then id rather walk a mile in glass, i knew id regret not going on it so my grandma took me on. Well, we waited about 2 hours in line and each minute i was getting more scared. When I finally sat in the ride, it was awesome. The twilight vision and the people looked so real i thought i could touch them. When that was over the elevater guy said see you at the bottom and laughed. My grandma, being the fiesty lady she his said some funny comment i forgot and made the other terrified people on the ride at ease. Well, when the elevator started moving, i got extremly terrified and wanted to get off, but it was too late. The ride slowly crawled to the top of the building and there was a window. I finally saw how high up we were and freaked out. But after awhile i was calm again because the elevator stopped and i thought it was over. I started to look for my mom out the window when finally WHOOSH!!!!!!!!!!! It dropped. I grabbed a hold of my grandma so tight i probably broke her bones. Then it shot back up and down again. Even though I was wobbly when i got off and terrified, I absolutly loved it, it was an unexplainable feeling. Sorry for rambling on,lol

I thought it would be better, but it was still good. Why is it called a vertical tower if it runs horizontally too? That was my favorite part.Good theming though and nice queue.

I enjoy the twilight zone and this ride was perfect for me. The ride was short, but it is a tower ride so I guess I dont have a point there. The speed and height of the drop were above average. I wish you had the option of bypassing the video if you had already rode. The theming in the queue lines was outstanding in my opinion.

This is my all-time favorite ride. I could go to MGM and ride this ride all-day long. I had to wait quite a while several time, but it was worth every minute of the wait. DO NOT PASS THIS RIDE UP IF YOU ARE EVER THERE!!!!
