 Review of Tower of Terror @ Disney-MGM Studios

I enjoy the twilight zone and this ride was perfect for me. The ride was short, but it is a tower ride so I guess I dont have a point there. The speed and height of the drop were above average. I wish you had the option of bypassing the video if you had already rode. The theming in the queue lines was outstanding in my opinion.

this ride has some of the best theming around. from the realistic hotel indoors, to the basement boiler room, to the ride operators (bellhops). plus for it to incorporate the twilight zone, its simply a masterpiece. but i disagree with you saying that this was a short ride, i thought it was quite long considering when you get down to it, its a tower ride.

Good review, this really is a great ride isnt it. MGMM really got it right with this ride. It is a model of how theming can be used to make a ride better than it normally would be.

yes, unlike SM, which just masks the actual rides inferiority. this theming is added to an already superb ride to make it darn near perfect.

The video gets a little long but you have to move from the main floor to the basement. The TV entertains as you are lowered to the floor below without loosing that Disney Magic by using a ramp from the lobby.
