This is a pretty solid ride with plenty of action. My only real beef was that it seemed a little jerky for being so new. It wasnt terrible (for that see Villian, The), but it did leave my head hurting just a little bit more than I would have liked. Also knock off a point because the area it was in smelled like sewage both days I was there.
Absolutely a B&M masterpiece. Its definately a must ride. Just wonderful... Layout, timing, speed... Its all so perfect. You must ride it. There is practically no downside. I had zero head banging... ZERO! I didnt even know that was possible! Lots of air-time, and the loop is so big, you actually start to loose weightlessness at the top! Amazing.
After riding Dominator... I think I am liking B&M flooress coasters more than B&M inverted coasters. The reason? You still get the feeling that your feet are dangling (since there is no floor) and you can still have great visuals from all seats (instead of simply the back of the seat in front of you in all seats on Inverts other than the front). Dominator is one great coaster... height, length, pacing, everything. I love the intensity of the back seat. While all elements are good, my favorite is the drop just after the midcourse breaks. In the back seat, the air on that drop left my stomach in my chest.
An awesome ride. The layout is really unique compared to other B&M coasters I have been on. I love the swooping first drop, the large loop, and the very low, high-speed turn after the loop. This is an awesome example of the greatness that is B&M!
a real fun floorless that gives decent air on the first drop and through the loop. The final helix is real tight and the train runs close to the supports providing for exciting headchopper/footchopper action
Hey, what can I say about the #3 coaster on my list. This was my first and only floorless and I was delighted that I had the opportunity to ride it without a long wait. Then it was named Batman: Knight Flight and the park was SFWOA. The first thing I noticed about this coaster was the height. The next thing, of course was the first drop, which was one of the best first drops on a steel looping coaster I ever rode, even better than Raptor. The coaster didnt seem to let up much and the floorless-design gives you a more relaxed feel to riding with your legs dangling than an inverted, to me. One of my favorite elements was the interlocking loops, which are like 2 corkscrews intetwined, but going in opposite directions, giving you a slight sense of disorientation. This is definitely a must-ride for any fan of coasters, especially B & M and/or Floorless lovers.
This is defiantly a great looper. The sweeping frist drop into the titanic loop is a great start, and the whole layout is unique compared to some other floorless coasters. Its as smooth as glass, compact, and intense. Really makes you want to try other floorless coasters, the seats are a great design.
Best ride at the park, which isnt saying much. I had a lot of fun on this, but it got really boring after riding it about 8 or 9 times, which is something that cant be said for other coasters I love.
This is by far the best coaster in the whole park. I havent been on many floorless coasters, but this one was outstanding. The layout was very intense and it never really gave me a breather, very fun.
The Dominator was my first looping coaster ever, as well as my first floorless coaster. The first loop was, at least when it was built in 2000, the highest vertical loop in the world, as well as the longest floorless coaster in the world! It looked very intimidating, but I knew that if I missed it, I would regret it later...
I was surprised when I found that I not only tolerated it, I actually enjoyed the ride, too! It is my favorite coaster that Ive ever been on, and cant wait to try it again! It wasnt even very rough at all (IMO at least).
This one cant be missed, even if it werent a walk-on! I went on a Tuesday, so Im not sure if its normally a walk-on or not. Either way, it is definitely worth a wait if there happens to be one...
BTW, I dont understand why people complain about the lake scum. It really isnt that bad - and geez, its a LAKE, not a fountain or something! Havent you seen a lake before?!?!
