Assuming this is still the original, I love it. The update makes the George Lucas simulator even more nauseating. The queue is heavily themed, as well as the attraction itself. Over a great experience!
Ive always liked Star Wars and even though this ride is older, its still fun. The movement was very well coordinated with the film and the audio was great as well. Also, the Death Star sequence was very well done and quite thrilling.
It lacks the terrific photo op of the one in Florida (where a giant AT-AT walker is outside the ride, but otherwise the California one is identical. Which is to say, pretty good. The simulator moves well (especially one "drop" inside the shuttle terminal, and you cant top the cool factor of swooping in for an attack on the Death Star.

Just like MGM, Fun. I love the themeing in the line, and I like the movie itself. Overall this is a nice sim.
In my opinion, its not such an intense motion simulator as some others are. The robot actually talks like Pee-Wee Herman. Its star wars, and thats the best thing about it. If I had a season pass, I would probably go on it about every 5 visits.
Although it makes me feel sick good ride!
As a kid, I loved this ride. But as I got older, this ride kept losing its appeal, plus the fact that I dont really care for Star Wars anyways helps that. The part I do love is that its always the robots first flight. Nice to go on when other lines are longer.
dated but still amazing, it is one of the most realistic feeling simulators ever if the film is dated. The queue could be a walk through attraction all its own!
I used to live this ride as a kid but now that I am older i feel the movies is getting older and needs an update. also, has it been toned down? well i guess it just needs an update. its stilla classic tho.
