This is not a must, but I still highly recommend it. Battle Zurg alongside Buzz Lightyear in this fun Shoot-Em Up Attraction.

Much better than it's name sake in Florida but is inferior to the version in Paris. The guns are much better than Florida's and dont make your hand ache as the east coast version does. Very good but not the best Buzz out there....

Best shooting dark ride Ive been on to date. The Buzz Lightyear theming was excellent, as all of the animatronics and targets looked great throughout the ride. Also, the guns were flawless and easy to aim with. The cars also were able to be spun and the ride was long with plenty of targets to shoot.

Noticably better than Floridas version. Buzz himself guides you through the plotline, and best of all, the guns are handheld and much more usable than the cart-mounted ones at WDW. The ability to rotate your car is still nice, and the ride remains colorful and full of surprising fx (hit the target on the volcano + it erupts). Look sharp for the lighted targets that give you big points; advancing beyond level 4 is tough.

I didnt really expect this fun little dark-ride shooter when I made my last trip to Disneyland, but its a fun little one to mix up between a few of the thrill rides. Definitely a must-ride for families or fans of the Toy Story flicks

This is a very good dark ride for Disneyland. Buzz Lightyear is great for all ages, the duration of the ride is quite lengthy, and the line gets processed through quickly and efficiently so that the wait is never very long. It is hard to pay attention to any kind of storyline that exists here, as essentially the sole purpose of this ride is the shooting gallery aspect of it. (I always say that someday I will ride just to look at the sets and not worry about shooting, but somehow I do not think I will ever follow through with that!) It always gets extremely competitive among whatever group I happen to be with, though regardless of who wins there is really no reason to brag. We are all always in the bottom few levels of the scoring range, although our exhausted trigger fingers feel like we deserve higher than that! Oh well, all part of the fun, and all the more reason to keep riding and practicing. I should add that, while Buzz Lightyear without question remains very entertaining, the new Toy Story shoot-em-up ride across the way at California Adventure blasts this one (pun intended) out of the water.
