When riding, it is easy to understand why this dark ride is so popular. It even includes a couple dips where the boats come off the track and coasts.
For some reason, this has the longest lines in fantasyland. The big difference between this + other dark rides is the inversion, your car/boat hanginging from a rail above you, and the AA-laden scenes go on below. The downside: no real narration or sense of plot, even though were all familiar with the basics. It feels like random scenes rather than a story going on. Upside, the parts where youre looking down on nightime London, the Neverland, plus the large starscape, are quite good.
overrated, and not worth the usual hour + waits, but still a very charming ride.
This ride is fantastic. The dark scene where you are flying over the city seems so real! Its a classic and shouldnt be missed
Cmon people this ride is fantstic and it is a childs ride. I love this ride its in my childhood memorys. I love how you feel like your flying in the air and all the vocies and paintings are exact to the movie.I love it.
i liked this ride!!! better than other dark rides in fantasyland...flying over london is very kool and u can tell this is a more modern dark ride
Way longer and better than worlds!
I feel that the five Fantasyland dark rides are all pretty much the same in what you do, so I rank them by the duration of the ride and the time you have to wait in line. Although most people would probably disagree with me, Peter Pan ranks last among the five. This is by far the longest line of the bunch, and the ride is quite short. As far as the ride itself goes, on this one you are suspended from the track above instead of riding on top of the track. This is fun, except for much of the time I feel that I am too far away from the experience. Only at the very end do you get to fly by up close to Peter Pan fighting Captain Hook. Im not denying that this is a favorite Disneyland ride, I just wish we got more for what we waited in line for.
Its a nice change to ride a suspended darkride, but the ride loses points for having really long lines. Its fun, but not worth waiting an hour to ride.
One of the best dark rides. Nothing else beats this one in anyway. Makes me want to visit Peter Pan in his home in Neverland.
