While it isn't tall like the version at Magic Kingdom, it is still the same ride. Can't go wrong with a decent flat ride.
This was probably moved off the platform to shorten the loading times, which even now are quite slow. It looks pretty, in a Jules Verne sf kinda way, and it does give a nice view of the surrounding area. Its your standard hub + spoke ride. You can make the car rise + fall in altitude, but slowly, so you dont really get a swooping feel. The centripetal force, plus the angle of the cars makes you feel like youre uncomfortably leaning to the left. Worth it only on early entry day when therell be next to no line.
utter waist, worst ride in the park, WHY did they move it off the platform.
not very cool. The only reason i rode it was because my little brother dint want to ride alone. More of a carnaval ride with a theme.
This ride was O.K. but it was nothing special. Its basicaly a jumbo Dumbo.LOL
Not horrible. I personally think that its quite an icon for the land. Although the ride isnt the most original thing int he world, its still fun, and imo, alot better than Dumbo. You go alot higher, and you can see alot more. Nice to do if youve got some extra time in the park.
This is just like dumbo, but in stupid little spaceships, nothing special.
7 1/2. Astro Orbiter is a great thing visually, but just isnt a great ride. It is fun however, and is fun to go up and down. Like said before, dont wait too long for it though.
At one time this was good. When you had to take an elevator to get to it and it was higher. Now it sucks. On the ground? Theres no good height in that.
ok but its in a pit so its boring
