This is a fun ride: it has a decent speed and it gives you a bit of a thrill. Its a little rough, though.

A classic! The bobsleds are a must do to complete an excellent day at Disneyland. You have to enjoy the history and prestige of this truely Disney ride.

You cant really go wrong with this oldie but goody, just for the fact of its history (both ride wise and for me personally, as youll read later) and its not too bad of a ride really. The speed of the ride really depends on how much weight your bobsled has on it. It has that classic Disney theming with the snow monster and the ice, waterfall and the mountain (obviously) and a couple of dips and some tunnel action. I remember many years back this was the FIRST ROLLER COASTER I ever road. After being a pansy (I was little what can I say) I remember feeling its time for me to be a big boy and one evening I went on it with my Dad. I stood in line while two teens from Canada talked to me about wrestler Bret Hart and kept my fears in the background. If I had been older I probably would have hit on them, oh well. But I finally got on the ride and I remember being cold, as it was a chilly evening in winter and the rise itself has the water and all. In the end though I was enthralled on the ride and felt like something new had been born in me. It had, coaster fever. Long live the matterhorn! check out this video I took of the ride...

This will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember going to Disneyland as a kid before I could ride coasters. I would go on the sky ride which would travel right through the heart of Matterhorn Mountain and give you a glimpse of the ferocious snow beast. It truly terrified me. The first time I got to actually ride the coaster was a totally exhilarating experience. Its not the fastest or most thrilling but it is perfectly themed and very, VERY fun!

Fun, but bumpy. It had a good theme, and the line was a little long (at 7:45 A.M.!) but it was pretty fun. Defenitely a classic.

The rides kicks butt. The right side (Near the soon to be new submarines) of the mountain is so much better than the other side (The other side is by the Alice ride). I just love those drops. The only problem is that its old, and it probably needs to be get a new track system because it was breaking down enough, and manually labor is not a good thing.

The line was long, but it goes pretty fast considering that there are two sides to this coaster. By the way, the type is NOT a log flume (Right!) (To Theme Park Critic-an accidently mistake), and is indeed a roller coaster.

fun but in need of updating, both effects and trackwise.

Just being on this historic ride in the center of Disneyland is enough to make anyone grin. Its fast and fun, but only ride it (if time is limited) if the lines look short.

Excellent ride that makes me scream everytime. I love it for its themeing and thrill. I went on it when I was 7 and i would always cover my eyes because of the abominable snowman and I sill do. a great ride for young to old.
