This ride is very exhilarating and extremely fun. The wait is worth it for no matter how long the line is. The worst part is waiting. As you enter the station you notice the very efficient way two trains are loading. You strap in and wait for the hosts to check you. The fact that you only have a lap bar scares you and makes you more nervous, but it is all worth it because After that you are off and onto the launch way. You sit there for a few seconds, (which feels like an eternity) then the ride clicks back. Five seconds later, you are flying down the track at unbelievable speed. Before you soak up the 120 mph that you are traveling at, you are flying straight up and twisting to the top. Then you are suddenly flying back down staring DOWN at Millennium. But don't blink! After two seconds you are traveling at 120 MPH again and smoothly glide into the brake. This ride is worth every minute of waiting. You will not be disappointed. Top Thrill Dragster is a must when you are at Cedar Point

The freedom you feel 400 feet in the air, looking out across the lake and seeing what seems like the entire country, makes this ride one of my top three. The decision to use lap bars rather than over-the-shoulder restraints made this ride a 5 instead of a 4 or 3. Yes, the lines are long, and the heat is scorching, but the exhilaration of speed and height would make even a 6-hour wait worth it. The only thing that would make it better is if the riders could choose to have a rollback.

Accelerating at one hundred twenty miles per hour atop a gargantuan four hundred twenty feet tower, are you ready to go? Entering the park, seeing those brave souls race for the sky, it really makes your heart race and you have one of two thoughts in your mind: I have to ride this or I will never ride this. Fortunately for me, I was the former. Standing in the queue line, it adds a whole other layer to fear. You approach the sign about occasionally the train not clearing the lift hill, the aboarding passengers are in your peripherial vision, and the sooner you realize, I am next. As I was strapped in my seat I was fought with skepticism, but also nervous excitement. I had a sole lapbar and a seatbelt. The only restraints preventing me from the strong G's. From there, the train starts to slowly move as the train in front of us is waiting for those precious seventeen seconds. Yes, you heard that correctly. Seventeen seconds. Seventeen seconds later, the train cleared the lift hill and now we're next. The first thing you hear is a discordant enginee sound. Then you hear "keep your head back, arms down, and hold on". From there, your heart is racing so much you think it's going to pop out of your chest. It keeps beating. Faster, faster, faster. You keep hearing the continous enginee sounds. Sweat is building, your face starts to break out. 321. VROOM! Before you have time to scream, you have just been launched from 0-120 miles per hour in less than 4 seconds. Before you even know it, you are at the very top of the tower, taking in the sight, watching your life flash before your eyes. Once you descend the 90 degree extravaganza, you realize, that was the best 17 seconds of your life. Now, it's time to analyze what just happened. First off, how are the restraints? Excellent. The lap bar, while providing more freedom, makes you feel secure and adds layers to the ride. Cedar Point could've gone the OTS route, but instead, they chose wisely. How is the launch? So enthralling it becomes orgasmic. It's such a huge rush in such little time. Value those few seconds you're launched because this is a short ride. Comfortability? Superior. I have never felt this comfortable on a ride. With such fast speeds, you'd think it's a bumpy ride. It's everything but. It's as smooth as glass. Airtime? Unfortunately, you're going so fast, you don't have time for airtime. For me, it wasn't a big deal. I don't need my stomach going up to my chin every time. It was actually refreshing to see a coaster not rely so much on the typical butterfly-like effect. How's the drop? Dazzling. It is seriously spectacular looking down that gigantic beauty. Especially at the night. It's simply breathtaking. All in all, the ride lives up to its name. This is just an unbeatable ride that has it all. The height, the speed, the comfortability, the memorabilia. And that launch? Nothing will prepare you for it and reasonably so. There is nothing even close to that feeling. Cedar Point, you truly outdid yourself with this one. This a ride that will never be forgotten and a story I will live to tell.

I dont know why everyone loves this ride so much! It sucks once you think about it. The line is like 2 hours long, the ride is only 8 freaking seconds so you can't remember anything when you get back. Also people say the view at the top is soo great, the view only lasts one f***ing second! So to me and probably not anyone else think this ride sucks so bad! I do admit is is kinda cool being tha high but not worth the wait. It breaks down all the time so almost everyday it is closed for atleast an hour. The only bad coaster cedar point has had so far >

The lines are way too long, but it is very much worth it. This launched, 400 ft. coaster is amazing! Not to mention the only thing holding you in is a simple lap bar! The feeling at the top is phenomenal, and gives you a chance to take the whole park in before plummeting back to earth.

For me this ride is average. Your wait in line for 2 hours to get to the front of the line and it breaks down. I've ridin it once but when you get pulled out of the station. People tell you to put your head back. You launch of at 120 m.p.h to a 420 foot tall hill. You get back to the station in 5 seconds and you completly forgot what happened.

We waited probably 15 mins to get on the ride. It was fast, quick, and enjoyable. Except that I broke my phone on it.

Finally rode Top Thrill and it was a blast! You know the launch is coming and it's still a shock. I would ride this again, provided that I arrive early!

The launch is intense and cresting the 400 foot plus hill is awesome. The 90 degree spiral back to the ground is exciting as well.
