On my top ten. I Love rollercoasters that are launched out of the station!! This one was very fun and one time we didnt make it all the way over. I could tell we werent but my dad didnt and he started freaking out when we started going backward! I liked this one because when I rode it it was the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in th world
This is a fun ride. The speed and forces exerted on your body is awesome on this ride. However, due to the extremely short ride and lack of variety of elements, this coaster cannot be considered to be an upper tier coaster. The theming is good, but Id rather ride most hypercoasters than go for a ride on Top Thrill Dragster.
Amazing, Amazing! We were the SIXTH car of the day! It was so fast, high, and thrilling! This is my favorite coaster in the world! When your at the top, it is a whole different experience! I loved this ride! A MUST RIDE!
Well I finally got a ride on TTD and I have to say it was worth the wait. The launch is crazy!!! I could not believe the speed...it just kept getting faster and faster. The anticipation was intense but suprisingly the ride wasnt as scary as it looks. Dont miss this coaster!!
Top Thrill Dragster leaves Kingda Ka sprawling in the dust, in my opinion. However, I really dont have much inspiration to write a very long review on this coaster. Suffice to say, it is an extremely fun experience and should not be missed. My single ride on this thing was at 10:30 at night, front row, after waiting an hour and a half. Despite the bugs plastered on my face, hair, shirt, and more than likely down my throat and into my stomach, it was worth every second of the wait and was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life. However, once again...there just isnt enough to the ride to honor it with a spot in my Top 10
This has to be the greatest launch coaster in the U.S. Like my night ride 4 MF, I had to wait an hour and a quarter, and there werent even any breakdowns! When I finally got into my seat (1st row, second car), The lap bar felt like Millies, and I had to sit on my hat. Train is checked, all clear, and then we were off. Both this and Kingda Ka have a way of reminding you that the launch is coming. Kingda Ka, a horn. Dragster, light system. And off we go, up the straightaway eventually flying at 121 mph. Reaching the top of the hill, I looked ahead and caught an incredible view of the Force ahead of me. I had to enjoy it while it lasted, because the train had to fall into a twisted 400 foot plunge. Reaching 100+ mph once again, we entered the straightaway at the base of the tower until the entrance to the brakes.Applause and dispersal.
This ride might not have too much airtime, but its plenty intense and a notch better than Ka. Bring something to do in line, because the ride is subject to break down. Thats all for my review of one of the greatest coasters ever. 10/10 by theme and intensity.
Loved this Ride. The Launch, drops and spiral are amazing, and it offers a good view of MF, before plunging back to earth. Short, but a great ride.
Awesome ride, but the line is not worth the ride. I mean, dont get me wrong, its a fantastic ride, and the launch is amazing! I didnt even notice the launch! The thing is awesome, although Id be scared to death if the train didnt make it over the hill like the signs warn it does.
I never thought that Hypersonic XLCs launch could ever be topped but this ride has done it. Truely amazing!
One of my favorite rides ever, starting from before even entering the queue line. The theme is perfect; the bandstand setup, the christmas tree lights, the lights on the tower, the dragster noise, its just so thrilling before the ride even starts. The queue inside the layout is fun, and the capacity is AMAZING. The line moved so fast, although it breaks down fairly frequently. The launch was the best launch out of any coaster Ive been on, including KK and SR. The airtime going down the tower is amazing and the finish line at the end is a very cute addition. The drag racing trains look so badass too. Overall a very fantastic ride, definitely going to stay in my top 5 for a very long time. The back row is as good as the front, since the airtime getting pulled at the top of the tower is almost overwhelming at 400 feet high.
