I finally rode the Dragster yesterday after years of putting it off. I waited around 3 hours in line (it was a busy day so everything had a killer line), so that might (slightly) factor into why Im only giving this an 8. What the Dragster does, it does well. The launch in extremely powerful and the hill reaches extreme heights. Unfortunately, I dont count speed that highly and the hill wasnt exciting enough to make up for the lack of variety. The view was nice for a second, but everything went by so fast, I barely noticed it. Id rather ride the Magnum or Millenium Force at Cedar Point. This ride does provide an amazing thrill, even if most of it relies on speed, so you should ride it. Its one of the craziest experiences you will ever have. Try to catch it when the line is less than 3 hours so the short ride time doesnt disappoint you.

Good ride, but really its a lot of potential gone up in smoke.

You know what... it is incredibly short but I dont care. This packs in the excitement equivalent or greater of any other coaster into a few seconds. That concentrated joy is unlike any other experience Ive had on a ride. I prefer these to the extended rocket coasters because, for me, 120mph outweighs 70mph and a couple extra inversions.

Wow! when i was in line i was covered with sweat it wsa soooooo hot! When i got off the ride the i had sweat no more! 124 MPH is crazy and over 420 feet hight is insane. The line was moving sooo slowly and the intense heat wasnt helping it was sooo hot that a girl actually fainted while she was in line!!! Security did a good job helping her out and everything. I liked the ride but it was just too short for me. I waited overf 90 min just to ride a ride less than 20 sec long

Just looking at this thing evokes a feeling from everyone. Whether it be happy or scared, you cant look at this thing without some kind of remark. "I have to ride that thing" and "No way in hell am I going on that!" are the normal kinds of responses. It is the tallest and fastest ride in Cedar Points lineup. Sticking straight up, you cant help but stop and stare and see if the train even makes it up to the top, or rollback. Yes it does rollback sometimes. Every head turns when you hear the powerful launch, its so loud that you cant even hear the terrified riders scream (Or if theyre even too scared to scream.) Up it goes to 420 feet, then down into a twist and the ride is over. 20 seconds of pure adrenaline and fear. Will you go on it? The brave ones that do go on have to endure a queue that is actually right in the middle of the ride, where you cant help but hear the launch and the screams of the riders. If youre too scared to even look at the ride it will be hard to miss as you actually stand facing the ride at some points in the queue. You also get to hear peoples reactions as you stand right next to the brakes. Most of them are laughing and cheering to the amazing experience they just witnessed, but you are thinking that you wont be one of them, that you will be absolutely terrified from beginning to end. You come across a split in the path and can go either left or right. If you choose left you get onto the first train. Choose right the second. Just go onto whichever one is the shortest. As you near the station you hear the "Baby Im Ready To Go" song that gets you fired up or even more scared. Pick a row because all rows offer spectacular views, however the front of course offers the best. You strap yourself into just a lapbar and seatbelt and head off. You watch as the train in front of you launches at an impossible speed that will surely rip your face off. You then edge up to the lights and nervously anticipate the incredible launch. Everyone is watching your every move, some even taunting you. You stare helplessly at the HUGE tophat you will be above in seconds. The train inches back a little bit and you know it will come soon. Let out a scream now, because you wont be heard when you launch. YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW GREEN. Before you know it your face is plastered against the seat, youre flying down the track at speeds unheard of in an open seat, you feel pure adrenaline as you go faster, faster, even FASTER! You scream with pure joy as you ascend the tower, twist to the side, and youre 420 feet up in the air. Most people throw their arms up at this point, but most lower them at the next element: The drop. Youre looking straight down at Millennium Force, a 310 foot coaster. Lake Erie is a puddle from up here. Before you know it you dive down into a support but miss it as you twist and fly down the drop. You pass the finish line and youre done. You accomplished one of the scariest rides ever. Wipe the tears from your eyes, because you got to prepare for your next ride.

oh my gosh, where to start! The launch was out of this world and i mean it, very smooth, feels like your intenstines are being squished to the back of the seat! and a nice warning too. The view is worth a 3 hour wait any day! but it doesnt last long. The theme is great! they carry it out very well. between the christmas tree lights (warning lights) and the sounds (Tire screeches and "ready to go" song in station), this ride gets you pumped and in the mood!

I can see why the line for this ride is always 2 hours +. Once you been this high and this fast its very hard 2 get excited about riding any other coaster.

Two trick pony. Luckily one of them is possibly the best trick of any coaster, the other is alright. Trick #1: The Launch, best trick ever, really. So powerful it sucks the living breath out of your body, and it actually lasts for a bit too. Quite astonishing. Trink #2: The hill: I really wish that it was 20-50 feet shorter for the sake the airtime... The view is the biggest benifit of the height; looking DOWN at Millennium Force is worth the three-hour wait all by itself.
