The ride moves pretty fast at some spots and the only word to describe it is fun, not too serious. Pinhead is in there which was nice, they should put some other famous ones.
This is really fun. Yeah, some of the stunts are kind of cheesy and fake, but that'.s the whole fun of it! The beginning and end are awesome, and the outside of it is cool, with a real flying witch.
Another dark ride that I liked. It is faster than Zombie Castle, and also has a nice, dark, suspense-building begining. It is a little short for the price you pay, but a good experience nonetheless.
This is among the best of this type of haunted house Ive been on. By this type I mean the track guided kind with no coherent story, just lots of stunts. Its just an absolute lightning round of silly, gruesome, and bizarre stunts with no room for you to catch your breath. By the half way point, I was laughing and it never let up from there.
This Dark ride is a trip. The coaster like ride through this very dark ride was a lot of fun. The Climb to the top got darker and darker until suddenly the gags start and your on your way. you race down the track at a solid pace past newer and classic gags that worked well. i found myself jumping at a couple gags and simply in ah at the number of gags in the attractions. You end with a gang. Literaly!
APPEARANCE: I really liked Flying Witchs appearance as the giant windmill looks great and the witch animatronic also looks fantastic. The rest of the building is filled with some interesting and gruesome images that add to the aura of the ride. The cars themeselves are the standard plexiglass cars and nothing special.
WAIT TIME: Walk On- Just like with Zombie Castle, I have never had to wait at all for the Flying Witch. Also, the operator dispatches the cars relatively quickly.
RIDE: The Flying Witch was pretty good. The rides beginning was pretty unique as there was a small lift hill up a dark tunnel that was pretty creepy. Most of the stunts were similar to those found on a typical carnival dark ride; however, they were perfectly timed and because of this, some actually made me jump. I especially liked the final stunt which really made me jump.
FINAL VERDICT: This was easily better than Zombie Castle, but not nearly as good as the Ye Old Mill. Anyone who enjoys a good dark ride should give the Flying Witch a shot as its certainly better than the atypical carnival dark ride.
I gave me goosebumps and the effects all worked well
High marks... why?
1. It is one of a dying breed... dark rides that are meant to scare, not be PC or cute
2. All of the stunts worked
3. it was a long ride
4. all of the stunts were in good condition
Ok, why does this park have two haunted mansion rides? its just confusing. this ride isnt that great and its not worth your money.
A decent spook house, but not up to quality standards. My favorite haunted houses are the Haunted Hotel @ the Myrtle Beach Pavilion in SC and the Haunted Mansion @ Magic Kingdom in FL. This one is lacking scary elements and a real plot. Not worth the wait.
