An entertaining ride, moreso for boys than for girls (this is not to say no girl will be into the pirate theme, but many are not). Children are excited to be "rowing" and contributing to the ship. A relaxing, fun time.
I enjoyed it, but my captain was a really cute girl. It still wouldve been ok even if she wasnt.
The Buccaneer Pirate Ship is a unique and entertaining ride. Located near Fantasy Land, the Buccaneer Pirate Ship awaits anyone willing to temporarily become a pirate. Setting sail after a unpredictable wait depending on how long until the boat returns (usually less than 5-15 minutes). Riding in a large, brown boat, the new members of the crew sit in rows of two. During the ride, all the riders have to work to move the boat by rowing it. Its cool to row the boat during your adventure down the same stream as the Story Land Queen. You have an encounter with the Story Land Queen during the ride, at that point where you yell and heckle at the Story Land Queen. Overall, you get a long ride on the best boat ride Story Land has to offer. I recommend this ride to everyone, especially people who enjoy pirates. Despite the rowing, this ride is pretty relaxing. Also in the area of the Buccaneer Pirate Ship is a playground for children with slides, swings, climbs, and cannons that shoot water towards the Buccaneer Pirate Ship during the ride. The children love the playground and give adults a break for a while.
A pretty good ride. Thanks to "mcreagle", I have changed my review from a 1 to a 9. This is really an okay ride, but not something entertaining for young children.
fun for all ages you power this ship
Now the Pirate ship is the main attraction. It’s a fun Cruse through the world of pirates and myth. The ride is reasonable long and you might even get volunteered to row the ship.
