This is a lovely carousel, and quite unique. The rocking motion is interesting and very fun once you get a rhythm going.

This is stupid. It's not a real Carousel, as if that were anything great. The horses don't go up and down. There is nothing to see in the area while you're on the ride.

Nicer than most carousels...Thats why the rating is a 3, instead of a 1.

I rode this ride when I was 6. Boy, was I frustrated! I couldnt rock the stinken horse and I wanted to get off but my brother made me stay on. Once the ride started moving, I gradually got more and more relaxed. When my ride was done, it was my favorite carousel! Though I do wish I can go back to Glen and ride all these cool little rides.

The Antique German Carousel is my second favorite carousel, behind Knoebelss Grand Carousel. Located in Fantasy Land in the back right section of the park, the Antique German Carousel looks outstanding with beautiful hand-crafted horses. Also, the ride still has its classic apperance. With no wait, the Antique German Carousel has a very high capacity holding many guests per cycle. Riding unique horses, once your long ride cycle begins you can really have a good time. Unlike any other carousel I have been on, the Antique German Carousel has horses that riders can rock during the ride which is a cool aspect. Too bad other carousels dont have it. Sometimes maintaining the rocking motion is hard, but its fun to try and when you do it is a very realistic sensation to riding a horse. Overall, an outstanding carousel that shouldnt be missed by anyone. Children adore this classic carousel.

Very interesting c.1900 wooden carousel. The horses dont jump; you rock them back and forth yourself. It also rotates clockwise so i take it this one never had a ring machine

This is a stunning 1800s carousel. The figures are powered by you and the base movies quickly. Two unique aspects are that the Carousel is a German carousel, the horses face left so you can mount the horse correctly. You see the left rise is the right side with makes the right side the wrong side. The last thing is the turnstile travails Clockwise instead of counter clockwise like most carousels do.
