This is certainly themed better than other rides of this type, but is still not much of anything to write home about for adults. Children will have a great time, however, especially as they can control the height of the shoes themselves.
I love this type of ride. And since youre flying around in a shoe, it gives the ride bonus points. You just cant beat pulling the lever and rising into the sky. I still have some photos of the ride here at home and everyone seemed very impressed with the ride including me. Far better than other flat rides. Just be glad that you dont have to sniff the sox!
The Dutch Shoes are an attractive looking, family-sized roto-jet type ride. Located in the Dutch Village towards the back of the park, neighboring the Polar Coaster, the Dutch Shoes occupy on a small piece of land surrounded by the wonderful lake. All of the yellow, 2-seat cars look good. After an average wait of 15-20 minutes, you board the Dutch Shoes. It takes a long time to load and it doesnt hold too many people per cycle creating a slow-moving line and low hourly capacity. During the long ride on the Dutch Shoes, you control whether your Dutch Shoe rises or lowers with a stick. Overall, a fun family-sized roto-jet type ride that shouldnt be missed by families and children. Fans of Dumbo at Walt Disney World will enjoy the Dutch Shoes.
This is great! Nothing more is necessary to say!
this is not the best but its not the worse i think zemperla would be better
The Dutch Shoes are a standard spinning park ride with better then average themeing. The ride is located in the Dutch Village area of the park which in turn is part of a sort of world pavilion. It is on a man maid peninsula that really draws your eye to the ride. Worth a ride every time you go.
