Being pretty short... I found it quite painful. Afterwords, I had a headache and couldnt really concentrate on the ride much. The Bolderdash is much better
Well, its a standard Vekoma boomerang, nothing else to it. The reason I give it a 7 instead of my usual 6 is that its one of the smoother ones Ive ridden and had no lines when I was at the park. If theres no line then its worth riding, but other than that its just a boomerang. It will get you a bit dizzy and leave you disoriented.
Call me crazy (I guess I will put that in every Vekoma Boomerang review from now on) but I liked this ride. I found it to be very smooth. I actually wish it were a little more shaky to tell you the truth. It wasnt overly intense going forward, but was rather disorienting going backwards through the loop and cobra roll. I liked it. I thought it was pretty fun.
Seems like Vekoma boomerangs are like crying toddlers in that if you go to a park your likely to see one of each. This ones a bit rougher than I expected it to be but its still fun anyways.
Yet another clone. Theres really nothing special about this ride. It was pretty rough compared to most boomerangs, but not as bad as the one at KBF. The line moved pretty quickly although nonexistent
So, just a typical boomerang coaster. I would have liked to see an original coaster, but the public doesnt know this coasters been cloned 1000 times.
This was my fave ride at the park when it opened in 97, but the last few seasons Z has gotten very rough (although probably not as rough as some Boomerangs). It really bounces your head around between the OTS restraints, causing headaches that can last for several hours afterward, unless you stick your head out far enough where its not between the OTSs. I have fond memories of this ride back in the day but now I wouldnt miss it if LC decided to can it in favor of a steel counterpart to BD.
What can I say. This is a well kept Boomerang. Lines move quickly.
A little rough for a Vekoma boomerang, but still not as bad as some people make it out to be.
A typical late model (1999 installation with 1997 train) boomerang coaster, but with no theming and without a distinctive location or light show. A plus is that the ride is smoother (with less head banging) than on earlier model boomerangs.
when you have like 15 of the same rides in different parks how can you give a Boomerang/Zommerang anything but a five. Anyone notice that the older these rides get the more the OSTRs smell.
