Excalibur is alright. It's quite intense of a coaster of that size, and it has a nice moment of ejector airtime, but it has gotten a lot rougher recently. It's not a death machine, but it's not as good as it used to be. Also, it's a very short ride. It has a simple figure-eight layout, and then it's over. Makes me feel like Valleyfair built Excalibur on the cheap.

Excalibur is a sit down steel coaster (mine train/hybrid). It was built by Arrow in 1989. It is 100' tall, 2,415' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and long duration.

I hate it, I love it....somthing about this super short but super intense ride has my feelings all over the board. This ride is super super intense with its turns and will shake the lunch money out of your pockets! But its rather odd how short the lines are and where it is in the park.

Its the second best coaster in the park IMO. Yes, there are trims on the drop but it doesn&#39.t ruin the ride like the trims on mean streak.

gotta say four, its the worst of the VFs coasters, its the asethetics, its the ride itself. a basic figure eight is not exciting, and nearly everytime i go to the park. Excalibur is empty no line whatso ever. its not special at all. the best part is the first drop, sure the brake is annoying but yeah. for a ride with no line its ok i guess but as a ride itself its not that great. if i were to tear out one coaster at VF, for a better one it would have to be Excalibur.

Wow i rilly think this is a good ride in the park, not my faviorte but still good. I love all the air and how its so rough! Its top speed is only 50 MPH but it still seems fast because of how crouded the track is and how its designed.

Another rough Arrow. This ride is really off the beaten path of the rest of the park and the ride leaves much to be desired. Cool design, just wish a better firm could have tackled the project.

Why would you even keep a ride that you have to brake it half way down the drop. From that point on it had no chance. APPEARANCE-4 Unique but one of the ugliest coasters I have seen. CAPACITY-5 Very average and the ops acted like we were an inconvience to them. RIDE QUALITY-3 I will graciously give points for uniqueness but as jerky as it was it could not have been worse if they let it run faster. At least the jerkiness might have been worth a trade off for a better ride. FUN-2 Nada very un fun coaster IMO. RERIDE-2 I would try to see if I missed something or if I was with a first time rider. OVERALL-19 AVG-3.8 I will go with the three since VF obviously wants you to not enjoy the ride since it has a combination bad ops and way to much brake. Only thing worse was their version of worlds slowest mad mouse.

Its not too rough, but it is jerky. Provides a little bit of air. I didnt find the ride to be a lot of fun besides the jerkiness ruined the airtime and the lateral gs.
