Fun, but nothing special. A pleasant sensation and nice surroundings, however.

This is an awesome waveswinger, with a very beautiful landscape and scenery in the German section of the park. It's no different than any other classic waveswingers as far as the ride goes, but if you're in the German section of the park I would recommend this ride because it is very fun and relaxing, with a bit of a thrill.

This is a very good wave swinger. Der Wirbelwind is located in the German section appropriately and this turned out to be my favorite flat at Busch. Der Wirbelwinds appearance was top-notch as the ride looked gorgeous (especially at night). I went on this a few times and didnt have to wait for any of them. Loading took quite a bit on this one like on most wave swingers. I found this one to be much faster than most wave swingers and I loved how close I came to the trees surrounding the ride. Also, unlike Buschs other flat rides, this one actually had a decent cycle. Though not nearly as good as the ones on other wave swingers, Der Wirbelwind had probably the longest cycle of any flat at Busch Gardens (it was about 2-2 1/2 minutes). Overall, a very good wave swinger thats easily one of the best of the genre.

Der Wilderben is a good swing that gets close to the trees. It is average speed, it is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

I was very pleased with this ride. It is one of my favorite wave swingers and was pretty fast.

A little above average flat ride. Considering that BGW doesnt have a wealth of rides why pass this up. Its pretty cool to ride so high and fast near the trees. It has high ride capacity so the line moves fast, so you wont loose out on anything else.

I found this to be the only flat at BGW with an appropriate ride cycle. APPEARANCE-8 Very solid with a good look, good amount of things around it to look like youll swing into them. CAPACITY-6 Lots of swings and the op was pretty fast. RIDE QUALITY-7 Good length and speed, I have been on some that felt as if they had a rocking motion to them. FUN-5 Good but not great swing so a good but not great sense of fun. RERIDE-4 Short line could get me back but not a must ride flat I would definately sacrifice it to try something new. OVERALL-30 AVG-6 A solid flat and for BGW an above average flat due to the other rides short cycles. Probably only got the 6 due to the weakness of its competitors.

A nice ride in a nice location.

One of my favorite wave swingers! Its beautifully located toward the back of the park in the Germany section. Its fun, exciting, and thrilling. I love wave swingers!

A fun swing but these get boring after a while. I like how close it gets to the trees and just the general German theme of the ride.
