Great, especially cause Im not claustrophobic! The story is that you are going to land on mars. The G Forces are great and Disney really gets you into the action. Epcots newest, hottest, and second best after Test Track.

A very hard ride to score in my opinion. To start off with, Mission:Space is way overrated compared to the hype it got from Disney. It is surely not "The best thrill on Earth". There are many positives about it though- the launch into space was awesome, very intense; also, the slingshot around the moon was great. The ride building is also the most beautiful building I have seen for a ride. However, the negatives are that when you are in space itself, you feel no weightlessness at all. Also, it is very short. Finally, its the type of ride that you cant really ride twice. In conclusion, Mission Space is a great addition to Epcot and a low 8: the pros slightly outweigh the cons. I give Disney a lot of credit; for what they did do, they did it well. But I wish more time was spent on feeling the weightlessness while in space. Too bad. It is the best ride in the park though.

The most overrated ride of all time. I went into this thing thinking that it was going to be awesome.....boy was I wrong. I wish they never would have gotten ride of Horizons, I loved that ride. Although it says that you control the action of the ride, you actually dont, no matter what you do it is the same ride. If you hit a button or not you still do the same thing. I guess there are a few Gs during the launch but other than that it was just lame, and a bad choice to get rid of Horizons for this......how did I get back to Earth?

Rode This Ride During the summer, a great ride, kinda makes you nervous in the begining because ou dont know what to expect. Although it did give me a little headache, it was still a great ride.

Whoa..... Thats all that I can say about this ride! The ride was the best, but some parts were overrated, like the weightlessness (was there even any?) But that was made up with themeing. The building was beautiful, and the way they made you feel like an astronaut was sensational. Test track and Mission: Space are definately a must ride on your next trip to Epcot, Hands Down!

I went to Epcot three days ago, and Im still not completely recovered from this ride. Im in good health and physical shape, and followed all the instructions they gave before the ride, but I still got extremely nauseous from this ride. In addition, my right arm was tingling afterwards (heart attack?!?) and I still cant move my head quickly to the side without getting sick. Three of the four people in my party were unable to ride any more fast rides that day. The only thing good about this ride for me was that the mission didnt make me return to earth!

WOW! Incredibly cool ride. The patriotic music as you walk through the corridor on your way to your station is a neat addition. Nothing beats a brass fanfare. Use your imagination on this one and push the buttons and use the control stick when you are told to. The paople I rode with wouldnt let go of their harnesses. What losers.

Excellent ride! Rode MS 14 times during my visit to DisneyWorld and loved each ride. The take off, sling shot around the moon and landing all give you a feeling that is unique to Mission Space. The control panels are a nice touch, mainly if this is the first flight that you are on. Try flipping some of the switches and pushing some of the buttons before take off and you will hear beeps and lights will flash. It was also fun to see how nervous people are when they go on MS for the first time. I saw two teenage boys decide not to ride when they got right up to the cabins. The preshow was well done with the first room with the space suits and I loved how the second show shined lights on each team member and told them their jobs. A true Disney classic with great themeing and some incredible g-forces and feelings that can only be had by riding this great ride.

AWESOME RIDE! Disney has once again shown themselves to be the bar that everyone must try to reach up to. As far as sickness, real simple....DONT move your head forward from the headrest and DONT look to the left and right by shifting your head (just use your eyes). Focus on the screen in front of you and ENJOY THE RIDE!!! You do all of this and you will agree that this is the best, most unique ride youve been on. I have a friend who broke both rules above and she was sick for the rest of the day. But if you follow the instructions youll be fine and youll ride again and again!
