I think that this attraction gets a bum rap. Im 26 years old, and I didnt think it was stupid or lame at all. I think to many reviewers are expecting things more like Universal Studios, but that isnt what Busch Gardens is. I think that this is a fun show for all with good 4D effects (the water is a little to much, because it does spray quite a bit).
I must say that this was a real let-down. I usually enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a 3-d movie or other show during the day, but this was just terrible. The effects were not well done, the story was not very good and worst of all the acting was terrible. It is almost as if they had a very small budget and were not able to take all the takes they needed during filming to get it right.
I must say that shutting down the dolphin show for this is just a shame for those of thus who grew up going to Busch Gardens.
Even understanding the age group of R.L. Stine I still think this couldve been better. I thought the story was to rushed. They meet the boy, they trust the boy, the boy is a ghost. R.L. Stine is a scary story writer, the ghost arent even a little scary. The acting isnt all that great. My main complaint is the rushed storyline. I felt that it either needed to be developed more, or a new story should be chosen. Doesnt compare to other 3-d movies even though I understand the audience it is trying to reach.
Not the best 3-d movie i saw on my trip. There is about 3 better ones in disney.
This ride is not on par with the 3-d rides Orlando has to offer just a short distance away. The special effects were average at best for a 3d show such as this. The story is good, but the actors are horrible and the plot gets really corny at the end. Its an easy way to get out of the heat for 20 minutes without having to wait in a long line. You do get wet, but not soaked which is also a plus.
An OK 3D movie with some nice effects. Storyline is slightly boring, though.
Fairly entertaining with some of the usual effects associated with these type of experiences. I thought the wait was way too long though. It may have been bad that day because the Rhino Rally had just shut down. LOTS of kids!
Sorry, but this ride got a 10 on lameness, stupidness, and mind-numbing boring"ness". The story line is boring, the water effect is overdone, as you get very wet, and if it is supposed to be scary-YEAH RIGHT! Avoid this joke of a 3D special effects movie.
This 4d attraction is pretty fun.I knew it wasent going to be scarey because the name R.L stine is the author of the goosebump books and they arent scary at all.One thing I noticed is they had to many water effects and were lacking on other effects.Thats the only reason why I gave it an 8 because i know busch gardens could of done alot better effect wise then it has now.I still think its a great show tho.
the show it self was very good, the theater was surprisingly comfortable (unlike disneys) and the effects were incredibly good!!!, althoguh some were old school H.I.S.T.A., the only complaint i had was that the kids werent that good actors, although they managed to get the dude from Back to the future (his name slips me) which was really neat.
