Not a bad ride; good for transportation (due to the number of stops) but not really for sightseeing (for the same reason). Also, some of the sights are really enjoyable and pleasant, while others are so-so. A good place to relax for at least a bit.

Not great as far as amusement park trains go. The trains are ugly and they makes too many stops. It&#39.s also much less interesting because they have more than one train.

Huff Puff & Whistle Railroad is an excellent train ride around Story Land giving you a great tour of the park. With 3 train stops, one in the Oceans of Fun section in the back of the park, one at the front right side of the park, and one next to the Dutch Village near the Polar Coaster. The wait depends how long ago the last Chance C.P. Huntington left the station, but the wait is generally very short (5 minutes) because they run 4 trains. Once in the many 2-seat rows, your train dispatches on a fun train ride tour around Story Land. You can see the Polar Coaster, Dutch Shoes, Great Balloon Chase, Slipshod Safari Tours, Flying Fish, Turle Twirl, Oceans of Fun Sprayground, Whirling Whales, Sandcastle Maze, Professor Bigglesteps Loopy Lab, Bamboo Chutes, Dr. Geysers Remarkable Raft Ride, and the Antique Cars. This is a great ride for newcomers to Story Land and a great tour to show them the left side of Story Land. I highly recommend this train to get around the left side of the park and as a relaxation ride.

Very interesting, but rather ugly paint job. Gives a lousy view of the peeling paint on the Professor Bigglesteps Loopy Lab building, which must date back to the Voyage To The Moon (demolished 1995).

The train is the best way to see the park. It goes all over the park and you get to see everything. Ride quality depends on the narrator that day. The park owns 6 full trains and runs 4. they are the fist park to have the Handicap ready cars with lifts.
