This is one of my favorite flats because I love the music. now the ride itself is alright but Kontiki at SFNE is much better.

Good music express. The appearance is great and this one is pretty fast as well and therefore had very strong laterals. It had a decent cycle as well, but Lake Compounce only ran it forwards.

This was an allright himilaya. They only ran it in one direction, and only for about 30 seconds before slowing it down.

This is an ok musik express, unfortunatly the choice of music is pretty bad. It gets annoying after about 30 seconds. this ride feels like it needs to be restored, new lightbulbs and train would really help this ride.

The Musik Express at Lake Compounce is a wonderful himalaya. The Musik Express was built by Mack, and has been relocated many times at Lake Compounce. Its current location is near the back of the park, next to Boulder Dash. The Musik Express usually is a walk-on, and it has a very high capacity. This ride has very loud music, and bright lights. Like all Musik Expresses, the ride looks beautiful at night. This Musik Express travels fast, and the person on the outside, really gets squished by other riders. However, the Musik Express only travels forwards, which is disappointing but very few now actually go backwards. Overall, the Musik Express is a decent himalaya, but like all himalayas would be better if it were backwards. I recommend this ride to anyone who enjoys himalayas, or spinning rides. Put bigger people on the outside, and smaller people on the inside.

A very good Musik Express that could have gotten a 9 if they ran it backwards. Our ride op was working with the predominately black crowd as they played the rap and such, which was nice and no wonder it was so popular. The ride is fairly long and is always enjoyable, but could just use a few operations changes and perhaps a fresh lick of paint and it would be on its way to greatness.

I have to agree with those who say this ride needs some TLC. Also I thought it could go a little faster, at least when I was on it. Some 70s rock or disco would work a lot better than the really slow hip hop music they were playing when I was riding.

This is one of the few rides at LC that could use a little TLC. Many of the interior light bulbs need to be replaced and a few of the cars are "broken". Plus they dont run it backwards anymore and the ride ops choices of music have been raunchy lately. Classic rock in my opinion is the best genre of music to operate these rides to. I dont come to LC to listen to Britney Spears, especially since I have a teenaged sister at home.

Sorry, kids - I love a good Musik Express, but this one just doesnt cut a rating higher than a 7. Not only wasnt it run backwards at all (maybe it was just one of those days), but the operator didnt interact with the riders at all, and they played death metal - just not quite what a Musik Express should live up to. The light show was great, but "Turn of the Century"??? What was that about?

This music express seems to be unloved and deteriorating. My main complaints are that the light show only half works and there is no "working the ride" such as switching to going backwards or changing speeds. A more minor problem is that "turn of the century" has got to be the dumbest themes for one of these rides.
