Im not a huge fan of coasters like this, mostly due to the fact that they are simple and repetetive. I also dont like the restraints, I call them "junk crushers" for a reason... Anyway, for what it is its still a lot of fun. The launches are great and the air time is fun. I love how the spikes wobble in the wind, freaking out the people in line. A nice ride, but nothing special.

Wicked Twister was an amazing coaster and the best impulse coaster Ive been on. The launches were incredibly intense and very powerful, pinning me to my seat. Also, the twists up the huge spikes were both disorienting and thrilling, as they provided some unbelievably good air time. This one also had a pretty long cycle and great views too.

This a fun ride. I ride this ride in the second to front row because you twist more. (Cause you launch 3 times forward and 2 times backward, so you twist more in the front) Ive never ridden it anywhere near the middle because for the meer fact that you dont twist as much there. Ive never seen the wicked twisters line get5 longer then 45 minutes, (and i usually get a season pass to cedar point) so its a good ride to ride when on a crowded day since the line is usually relatively short. This is a fun coaster and i enjoy putting my hands out to the sides and feeling the breeze. (And if im not mistaking, this is the only impulse coaster where it twists on both sides, someone correct me if there is another. But im pretty sure that most impulse coasters have one side straight while the other side twists.

Set right along the beach, this easily has the best setting of any impulse coaster. It is also unique in that its back spiral is twisted, not straight like all of the other inverted impulse coasters. This ride usually has a short line so dont worry about long lines. As you wait in line the train launches right in front of you making it intimidating. When the train flies through the station there is a big rush of air that follows. Buckle yourself in, be prepared for a great ride! After the ride ops check everyones seatbelts they give the ok, run off the track, and prepare to launch. Your fate rests in the ride op in charge of the button that will launch you 70 mph up and down 2 twisted spikes over 200 feet tall. Sometimes they do the normal 3 2 1 other times they tease you by counting down and launching on a random number. Unfortanutely I got the 3 2 1. Nonetheless, the launch still took me by surprise as were speeding down the track at extremely fast speeds. I was sitting near the back so I didnt get that much twisting the first time up the first spike. Down we go and through the station and up the second tower. Seeing the world twisted below you was disorienting and fun! Down you go and another powerful launch makes you go even faster and you fly up the spike and watch the train get closer and closer to flying off the track! Before you do though, you fly back down, through the station, and up the twisted spike even higher. Sitting in the back made this part the funnest as you are 200 feet up and seeing the ground twisted below you. Down you, up one more time on the twisted spike, and your ride is over. I like the standard vertical tower better then the twisted one because I like rushing towards the ground vertically rather then twisting your way down. For that I like Vertical Velocity just a tiny bit better, but this ride is still fantastic and easily rerideable.

Terrific ride! great thrills, nice launch, long ride cycle. This is a dont miss coaster at CP. The first launch is good although i feel the second forward launch you can really feel the train pick up speed. I think it would be way more intense if they didnt warn you about the launch. This coaster got a 9 because i felt the transition into the twists were a bit too rough, they could of smoothed them out better.

Every park needs one of these. They dont take up much space and they provide a wonderful thrill. This one is right on the beach!

This is my third favorite ride that I have ridden and is my favorite coaster in the whole world! I love launched coasters! I like this one because it is inverted and I love those spikes!

Im not a fan of these impulse type coasters. The layout is too simple and the ride is too short to get a high rating. To me these are almost like boomerang coasters in their shortness and simplicity. Wicked Twister benefits from a nice location along the lake shore and gives a smooth ride. It is the best of this type of coaster that I have ridden, so far. In my opinion it is worth a 6.5 rating.

I loved this ride! My 3rd favorite in the park! The launch was pretty intense! The spikes were amazing. It was awesome how after every pass through the station, the train picked up speed. As a result, we went higher and higher up the spikes. This is a must ride!

I am giving this ride a "4" based primarily on how great it looks and on its inspired beach front location. As a ride it is good, but not great. However, riders do get interesting visuals, especially from the front seat.
