This ride is only worth it in the morning. You should see plenty of animals and the temperature is just right. In the afternoon the ride is usually just a very hot car journey through a field. The plot tacked on to the end of the ride gets a little annoying on repeat rides.

Take the advice to catch a ride on this early in the morning to see the animals in action.

I was disappointed. I love animals of all sorts, and I barely saw any on this attraction. Busch Gardens does animal exhibits much, much better. I saw a big rat at Disney, but not much else!

This ride really isnt anything special. Just because its disneys newest park and they have animals people think its great. There are plenty of smaller parks that have better safari rides. At Busch Gardens Tampa you can see FAR BETTER ANIMALS by train, Rhino Rally ride, or skyride. At Six Flags Great Adventure by me you can drive through in YOUR OWN CAR and see giraffes, lions, etc UP CLOSE. This one doesnt live up to its name. This had a lot of potential but its really not a good one. Long waits most of the time too.

I loved the Safari. The landscaping is unbelievable and the animals are practically on top of you. Ive heard complaints that the ride operators dont stop enough to allow you to get good pictures, but both times I was on the ride we stopped for pretty much every major animal the driver saw. I recommend riding more than once if possible b/c different drivers will point out differnt things.

"This is a neat ride that begins as a beautiful ride through a animal habitat. You will (hopefully) see giraffe, rhino, elephants, lions, and many more! The helpful tour guide will point out and name the animals for you. Another great perk is that both filming and photography are allowed, so you could have nice video/photography of the animals. I reccomend riding as soon as the park opens because A) There will be little to no wait, and The animals are most active in the morning! " All true, true!

I had to wait forever for this ride because my sister wanted to ride it. I thought it would be a short ride that would be in some way guided along on a track. I was so wrong! This safari is as real as it gets in Florida. The ride is like 20 minutes long and the cars are actually driven by people. At one point our car had to stop because a zebra was in the way!
