Splashwater Falls is a boat ride. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
If you like to get wet, and have a short drop its okay. If Hurricane Harbor is at capacty and you just have to get wet, this will do it. Not worth the wait if there is a long line.
Pretty simple layout, but thats not the point. The point is that (at least on this one) you get SOAKED! It is definately not hard to find one of these.
Eh, I didnt really want to get wet and I did but the drop is fun so I give it a six. And I tried to get away from the bridge but it sprayed me anyway
This ride gets you soaked for sure. The drop before the splash reminds me of the Demons first drop. Overall I give it about a 7.5.
Go to Noahs Ark for a water ride. Not Great America. I like it at a waterpark but not here cause I just get wet. Go on the coasters cause you only gonna be there, like, 2 times a year. I guess it good though cause it keeps some people out of the roller coaster lines and more coasters for me. :-D
Up, down, splash and then running through the water dripping off the bridge. I just dont get it. I still ride these once in a while but people act like its such a thrill to walk around wet for half a day. People go so insane for getting wet at parks I swear one day there will be a line to wait in to be sprayed by a little kid with a hose. The ride is nowwhere close to the time you have to wait.
Splashwater Falls is located in County Fair across from Farmers Market. On hot summer days the lines can form up to 1:30. 4 riders per row. Shirts, shorts, and shoes must be worn. No exceptions.
Nothing to it really, just getting wet.
I think I actually broke a rib on this thing once. Im a big guy and with the large bar coming down on the whole row, I was responsible for large gaps for other riders. I wasnt prepared for the sudden deceleration of hitting the water and hit the bar quite hard and nearly passed out from the pain. Lots of stars in my vision. It was fun when I was younger though.
