Grand Rapids is a boat ride. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

This one was alright, but I really hate the que waiting line. When I went last summer, I waited an hour and 30 minutes! I could have ridden the corckscrew 3 times in that time!

Personally, I don't really like rapids rides a lot, but I always find myself riding them. One thing I do have to say about Grand Rapids is that it never leaves me dry. I don't really care for being wet, but this ride does exactly what it's supposed to and it has good landscaping, so it deserves a somewhat good rating.

Aren&#39.t rapids supposed to be exciting? This was more like a lazy river in a big tube. My friends and I joked around the entire time about the wait for anything to happen. It was so slow and boring when it could have been an exciting ride. It did look cool and it was neat to float down a river but... where are the thrills? Oh, and yes. I was sitting on the side that got soaked... twice. I was praying for a time for everyone else to get wet and it never happened. Not cool.

This is probably the best looking rapids ride ive ever seen. You start off the ride by going through a canyon that makes sure your soaked. You then go under a bridge where people shoot geysers at you from the viewing area. After that you go through a series of rapids and then finally go through the "big canyon" where theres a good stretch of waterfalls that really got me drenched. You then end the ride and go up the conveyer belt. Probably the best looking area of the ride is the station which is themed to the Muskegon logging era. The location of this ride is perfect next to the waterpark, so you can just walk over to this ride in your bathing suit and get soaked.

Nice rapids ride, its more designed for families with smaller kids that want to get wet and spin little. Overall I think this is the pertfect ride to go in next Adventure Falls. The other addition for 06 was the Coasters Restaurant which fits in very nicely with Be-Bop-Blvd and The Corkscrews 60s paint jobs and did I mention its AIR CONDITIONED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
much needed.

I was glad to see something new at the park last year. This is an above ave. rapid ride. I got really wet. It has a couple of nice little drops on it, that will get you wet. The landscape is pretty good. I do think it needs some trees around it.

Last years new addition to the park. I found this ride to be very well done and landscaped extremely nice. It goes with the sort of logging/ old west town sort of theming that is in that area of the park. The ride itself offered a lot of chances to get wet, but no real thrills or good drops like some newer versions. Overall I found it to be an excellent addition and definately gives the park a reridable attraction other then Timbers. A very solid 8. Will probably be a nine when the trees grow.
