this was a cool little ride. All it really does is spin high in the air giving good views of the Steamin' Demon and not much else.

Condor is a fun ride, and is in a perfect location in the park. Takes you to the top as it spins like a scrambler. Gives some nice views.

Looking at many of the reviews here, it seems Six Flags as usual has neutered what was once a pretty good attraction. I mean, this was my first Huss Condor way back in 2000, and I had a fun time spinning high off the ground on this unique attraction. Since then I have only ridden Hershey’s Flying Falcon a few times, which I will say was slightly more enjoyable than what I remember Great Escape’s being back in my only visit to the park. Nonetheless I will review the attraction as I remember it being presumably during the attraction’s heyday.

Located in Ghost Town overlooking the front of the park, the Condor stands tall and looks great. Not only does it fit in completely with the nicely themed Western area, but also the ride itself, especially the bird-themed cars, is pleasing to the eye. And not only is it visually-appealing, but lines were non-existent for this fun flat thanks to the attraction’s very high capacity. However, loading was really slow for this, but that’s really more of the Huss Condor rides in general than a shot at the park’s fairly efficient staff.

Once seated in the nice looking bird cars, the ride slowly elevated to the apex of the tower, spinning the entire way up. Compared to Hershey’s, I remember this one spinning slightly slower, leading to less swinging and less thrills, but still the sensation of flying at the top is matched by very few attractions. Along with the thrill factor, it also gives some nice views of the park and especially of their classic Arrow corkscrew. In terms of the cycle, I remember it being fairly long, but from other reviews it’s apparent that Six Flags has obviously cut the ride time down significantly.

Condors are one of the most thrilling flat rides out there in my opinion. The feeling of flight at the top and the neat views they provide make these some of the better flats around as well. But how does this one stack up to Hershey’s? Well, as I’ve mentioned throughout my review, this one pales in comparison due to it being less thrilling due to its slower speed. Still, despite how Six Flags has supposedly neutered this classic flat, it’s still worth a ride since it never has any line whatsoever and deep down it really is a good ride.

It doesnt spin as fast as the Blizzard scrambler, but it is still a fun ride, with a nice view/location.

I hate this ride it spins way to slow but the only reason it dose not get a 1 because it looks nice in the front of the park near the demon but they should put a drop ride here

Honey, they neutered a Huss! based on the ratings from the last couple of reviewers it looks like SF has ruined a good ride. I can compare this to Flying Falcons at HersheyPark and say this ride 1)spins slower, 2)doesnt stay at the top as long 3)cars dont swing as much as HP 4) operators dont run it very long

A below average ride. Yes it goes very high and looks okay from the street (its ugly but tall). But it is also boring and lacks any thril factor what so ever.

I remember being terrified on this ride when I was younger. However, this ride has been at the park long enough IMO. I think its time to replace it with a modern flat.

Very boring flat ride that seems more of an observation tower. Dropping back down would make this much more exciting. Still, you do get a nice view of the park.
