If you used to visit The Great Escape while iitt still had a Mother Goose themed area, the really cool Jungleland, and some memorable attractions that are, gone, this train is for you.. Some of you may remember, as I do, when the theme park had the name Storytown. There are many references to the park of yesteryear, displaying some remnants from Storytown and earlier days of The Great Escape. If you want to take a trip down memory lane, or enjoy a relaxing train ride, then it is worth checking this out.
It is a good train ride, letting you see some of the older things at the park.
This was a decent train ride. It is a little on the small side (both the train and the amount of area it takes up), but the duration is still reasonably lengthy as it chugs along at a very relaxed pace. The wait can therefore also be somewhat lengthy, as there is only one train. It begins near Boomerang and the Swan Boat river, but spends most of the time kind of off in the forest, rather secluded from everything else. Your view is mostly of all the surrounding vegetation, but there are also a few glimpses of the Rabbit Season Walk-Through attraction. Its a round trip, too, returning pretty much along the same route. Overall, I would classify the Storytown train as a very peaceful ride.
Nice ride to take a break on, and great views of the park and all of the old storytown statues.
Not a bad train ride. I used to prefer the Old Ghost Town Train but now that its gone this is all thats left. Riding along side the little creek is nice.
Very nice calm relaxing ride through the trees and next to the creek. Could move a bit faster for my taste!
This is a nice relaxing train ride. it makes a big circle basically going around the Boomerang ride, past all the story land scenery, into the forest were the Jungle walk through is (Now Wabit Season), and back. looses a point for its slow loading time and the fact the conductor repeats the rules every three rows. so expect to get the same safety spiel a few times. a sound system and mic would do wonders for this ride.
