Very fun ride. Heavily themed and a classic at any Disney Park. This attraction is not for faint of heart, very nauseating indeed.
This ride is fairly pedestrian and boy is it a short cycle, but it's still very enjoyable. Sometimes the teacups can be difficult to get spinning very well and keep spinning. Children will love this ride (they seem to love to get dizzy in general) and adults who can handle the spinning will also have a good time. This is naturally not a good choice for most after lunch. If you can do spinning, you will have a fun time.
Classic, fun, intense... What more to expect? I like the fact that you can control the speed of the cup; that's pretty cool. But, I wouldn't recommend waiting over an hour for this one, because it's way too short, but you must check it out at least once on your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Basically the worst ride at Magic Kingdom. You get in a tea cup, spin around, hit your head over and over and pass out. Yeah, really fun.
I finally rode this last sept. when there was no line. It was a fun ride. I usally dont do well on rides that spin that much but I was fine.
Good tea cup ride. The cycle was decent and the theme was decent, but what really won me over was the spinning. There was tons of spinning during my ride.
The Mad Tea Party" spinning flat ride is a lot of fun and a Disney classic. Based loosely on Disneys Alice in Wonderland the ride is great fun. Basically, you sit in the tea cup and spin using the wheel in the middle. You can spin both ways.
If you are prone to motion sickness DONT go on this ride. I guarantee it will make you toss your Mickey Mouse cookies you bought in the gift shop for $10.00. Is it good for the kids? Yes. Its not scary in the least. Is it worth a wait more then 20 minutes? No way. The ride is way too short. Id say wait 5 minutes at the most. I give this ride an 8 out of 10.
Very fun. If you dont like getting dizzy this is not your cup of tea.
Two words -- DOWNRIGHT CLASSIC. GREAT
I never realized that I had not reviewd this. It has been years since I went on it and only went so I could "complete" the park. I am not a fan of this ride, but it does work with the movie and is great if you like circly fun. As a word of advice to anyone who travels with Larry, never ride with him unless you love being dizzy.
