This was my very first suspended, when I was I think 7 or 8 yrs old. Although Ive ridden many others since then this one continually ranks as my favorite. Its superfast, and the themeing is great.
By far, Big Bad Wolf is the best example of a suspended (swinging) coaster. Swinging through small Bavarian villages while picking up speed on rolling downhill terrain is the feature that makes this ride exciting. The second lift hill is generously sized and plunges you into a river. The drop is surprising, lookout. All around fun, you cant find a suspended anywhere this well executed in design.
The surprise of the park right here. The swinging action and drops are very intense and the scenery is spledid. The front row is the way to go here, and at night watch the bushes for a good lot of fireflies.
Great theming, and the best suspended ever. But, it could be lighter on the brakes.
The best suspended coaster Ive ever ridden! The themeing is great with the Small cottages and town building you rush by. It really added to the sense of speed. even my mother who doesnt really like coaster fell in love with this one. the drop is Great but I found it a bit Rough.
Its the only suspended that ive been on and its ok, i dont like it that much, but I ride it anyway so i can say that ive been on it, And after riding it later, i apreciate the theming more. I decided to raise my rating after i thought about it.
It stole my hat.And it wouldnt give it back.Bad Bad wolf.
The Best Suspended Coaster Around.Really Fun.Really Intense
This ride was at most mediocre. It could have been so much better by making a longer distance between the drops and the brakes. However the feeling of flying is cool and the bavarian scenery is great.
The ride was really flying and then - brakes
.
Then a second lift hill. Way too much time to "recover". Then the ride starts flying again and its time to brake for the station. Maybe I expect too much from designers (or Ive been spoiled by GCI) but second lift hills and heavy mid course braking kill the wild pace factor and all the out-of-control fun.
