These are the best racers, A spot I used to reserve for Gemini. however, other than the racing there is not much to it (airtime and lateral wise) but its still a ton of fun. Great layout, and I liked the fact that both sides were unique to each other and there were four crossovers or instances where you could determine who was in the lead

This is an outstanding wooden racing coaster. Not only are the track layouts exciting, but the coasters truly behave like they are fiercly competing to beat each other. The first drop is amazing for a wooden coaster and more interesting than the usual straight drops used on most wooden coasters. The last stretch of the ride is such a wild experience, with the 2 trains tracks weaving up and down and in and out of each other. Even better, there was no wait for my first ride and only about a 5 minute wait for the second ride. The only other thing this ride could have had was 1 or 2 more hills for airtime. I dont know if space constraints made it impossible to do this. Even so, they did an incredible job with this coaster. This coaster gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from me !! This coaster and Storm Runner are 2 reasons to want to visit Hersheypark.

A truly perfect ride for Hershey Park. The grace of this ride is unmatched and the dueling / racing effect is super cool. Im a very competitive person and if I dont win on a racing coaster, I feel a little dissapointed, but I rode Lightning Racer 5 times and never won but still adored the ride all 5 times.

best dueling woodie ever. Fits in perfectly with the rest of the park and is almost always a walk on.

One of the best woodie racers in the world, that building that the trains went through together was obnoxiously loud, but I base my ratings on the layout... a definate 10.

An awesome dueling woodie, the best and only dueling woodie Ive been on since the one at Kentucky Kingdom only used one track. APPEARANCE-10 Man this thing is just awesome to look at. The crossovers and just pure sculpture of the track is amazing. CAPACITY-9 I would have always said ten but the last time they blocked off the middle seats which actually caused a wait. RIDE QUALITY-9 Super smooth, but no real air costs it one small point. FUN-10 A great time and just an amazingly fun ride. I love everything about this park and this ride fits right in. RERIDE-10 It has dropped to my third favorite ride since I had such a good time on Storm Runner, but still a must do on each visit. OVERALL-48 AVG-9.6 I will go ten still but it has inched slowly toward a nine.

Excellent pacing and ultra smooth. In fact, a little too smooth. The racing action is great, but this ride lacks a vital component, airtime.

This was a great wooden coaster. Id give it a nine or ten but when i went, only one train was running. Racing coasters are scarce and if you are in Hersheypark, be sure to ride Lightning Racer. Gemini at Cedar Point is a better racing coaster.

Probably one of my favorite coasters at Hershey. Im a big fan of wooden twisters, and this ride was no exception. The capacity of this ride is also superb. The longest I ever waited was 20 minutes, and that was on a Saturday. The last part where you seem to collide with the other train is very intense. Also, I found the ride to be much more thrilling with your eyes closed, because you dont know whats coming next.

A very good Dueling coaster. Very smooth for a wooden coaster and fast! Their was no line when I went on, because of the two tracks! It also had a great tunnel. A great ride!
