Space Ranger Spin is a pretty fun ride that is intended to please children. As you spin around in your car your goal is to rack up as many points as possible by shooting the targets that surround you. Space Ranger Spin just felt as if it was too simple for Disney. Unlike other shooters, these targets were easily visible and didn’t really pop out from unexpected places. It also didn’t really incorporate the movie into the ride like other Disney attractions do so well. As I stepped off the ride I was asking myself, “Am I even in Disney World?” If the imagineers took more time to develop a better story and added Woody with his other friends from Toy Story, this ride would have been much more enjoyable. On a side note, the line and ride itself are filled with lots of excitement and noise so I wouldn’t advise you to ride it after a long day.
