Review of Rhino Rally @ Busch Gardens Tampa

This was amazing! I didnt know that it took so long to load/unload those Range Rovers and since when does it take 10 mins to travel less than a mile? The advertising of this ride made it seem as if it was a great ride and it wasnt! If somebody actually wanted to ride this after all these bad reviews- go in the early morning because I went on an off day where the other coasters loaded in less than 20 mins and Rhino Rally and I spent more than an hour and a half in line!

I dont completely understand why this ride is so bogus. I read all of the reviews, and a couple were good, but the rest were bad but I kept getting the same things about the ride over and over again (long line, dumb fake tour guide etc.) Was it really that boring? Werent there any rhinos? The thing on Discovery and the Travel Channel made it look really interesting and the video promo for it looked pretty good.

Well, again, in my experience with Rhino Rally (some 2 and a half years ago, so my memory isnt the freshest), the ride was hyped a lot, as you said on TV, and then every 500 yards on I4 headed to Tampa. It really got me excited about the ride, especially after I had been to one of those Wild African Safari deals where you drive your car through the park and animals come up to the car and you feed them or whatever, and that was awesome -- I still remember when the Girafe stuck his head through the sunroof because I had some food in a cup in the cupholder: it was an awesome, funny, and memorable thing, even 5 years later. But Rhino Rally failed to meet the extraordinary expectations set through the PR blitz. On top of that, 90 minutes in the Florida sun, no matter how many fans and misters were going, was not a pleasant experience, and to think that at the pace set on the day of my visit, that I could have ridden Montu three times, and then gone to Kumba, on the opposite end of the park, and ridden it three times, it really seemed like a waste of time
