I've been a coaster enthusiast since I can remember, so whenever we took a vacation we made sure to visit at a park nearby. I want to visit SFNE when I get my license next summer.

It could be worse, the Bill Clinton book-signing tour could hit SE PA too

I dont think Clinto is that bad. Go make a Michael Moore joke or something. Anyways, I got my liscence this summer, but that doesnt mean that I have the freedom or time to go to a park. After a couple months of driving I dont think my parents will let me take a road trip, and honestly, Im not that comfortable with the idea right now either

Well, my parents were a little cautious for the first year or so (I couldnt go farther than Downtown ATL), but I too didnt have enough time to take a week-long road trip until this year. And let me tell you that camping out with a few friends and hitting CP was one of the best times of my life. But I know its easier for me to get time than you.

One question, do you have your own car?

The Comet at Hersheypark already is a great ride, but if the remove the trim brakes half-way through the ride, the ride could be a top 10 roller coaster. The beginning is excellent, but the ending isn't all that great.

The reason they have those trims is just because it is an old ride that is wearing down a little bit. I don't agree with putting in trims and stuff, but that is just how it is. I'm sure it was a great ride really far back in the day, but it is still a classic and I really respect it for sticking around like it has and getting the lines it still does.

I think there should be no trim brakes, like on the Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake Park. By doing that, it's air-time heaven.

I wasn't that impressed the last time that I was on the Comet. It wasn't what I remember it to be. Maybe the trims did something to the ride from what I remember. So I guess you have a point. However, Hershey is a big park and doesn't want anything bad to happen. Smaller parks seem to worry less about the trims, thus making them better rides longer. Its a liability kind of thing.

I love the Comet still though. The back seat is awesome, because you get airtime on the first 3 drops.
